We need your opinion on the culinary mod of RCM
Added 2025-03-10 16:59:01 +0000 UTCIn the coming months, we plan to update the culinary mod.
Well, it's worth admitting that it's been abandoned lately) We apologize😇
It works, but it doesn't include many of the recipes that came with the latest updates.
We were also asked to make the prices a little lower, because the purchase of products is too expensive. Is it so? Do you think that prices need to be reduced?
What else would you like to change or add? What is missing? I also wonder how relevant the Simlish version of the products is to you?
The update won't be fast, but it definitely will be.
Any suggestions on this issue are important to us

2025-04-10 09:52:55 +0000 UTCPress the "Shift" button on the refrigerator and the hidden menus will open.

2025-04-10 04:22:58 +0000 UTCLove all your mods! Just a small inconvenience, after installing the "EA Override Menu_Hide" file, I can't seem to find the "create animal treats " option (cottage living) on the fridge or stove. Looking forward to the new update and thank you so much for all your hard work! 💕

2025-04-10 03:06:05 +0000 UTCI noticed today that there was indeed a delay of 1.5 seconds when opening the menu, which had not been observed before. I think this is due to the fact that the number of features has increased in the game- that is, it is a natural process. But I also noticed that there is no such delay on the cookbook from EA-Nona, although almost the entire menu is there, as well as on the refrigerator. Try playing through that book
Somik
2025-04-10 01:31:03 +0000 UTCThanks! I agree that it would be more convenient to open everything at once. We'll think about it!
Somik
2025-04-08 14:36:53 +0000 UTCThank you! So far, I do not know how to solve the problem so that the products immediately go into the refrigerator, since they are in packages. You'll still have to open the packages from your Sim's luggage or refrigerator...
Somik
2025-04-08 14:33:37 +0000 UTCIn my game, the menu opens instantly, without delay. I can assume that 7 seconds is due to the characteristics of your computer, or there are conflicting mods in the game that create this delay.

2025-04-08 14:31:49 +0000 UTCSS, I have no words to say how much I love your mods! <3 I would love for there to be a Simlish version and in my opinion the prices could be a little lower for the products, especially the most common ones that we use a lot, like fruits, flour and sugar. Another suggestion would be to open all the products that we buy in bulk at once, or that they could be used without having to open them, I don't know if that would be possible, but it would be amazing!

2025-04-07 05:31:12 +0000 UTCwhen i open the fridge with rcm installed, it takes seven or so seconds. i'm not sure if this is fixable, given the sim's capabilities and that i play with other large mods like MCCC, but if it is possible to improve the lag, it would be appreciated.

2025-04-07 00:44:33 +0000 UTCI love the mod, it definitely makes the game so much better, I don't care if it's in simlish or not tbh, either is fine I think, I do think the prices are a bit too high tho. My biggest want is to be able to open all products at once instead of having to click on each product to open them from our inventory - looking forward to the update <3

2025-04-06 17:40:51 +0000 UTCI would like to see some more foreign ingredients for different sections of my stores I know where to get simlish items and I love the content you guys have put out a thing that I feel like we’re missing is ingredients for ice cream, candy, and things like that
Simmerina
2025-04-05 23:28:24 +0000 UTCnot having things in simlish does kinda ruin the vibe. i think it would also be fun if like, they were "sims" branded. like a llama on the cereal box instead of tony the tiger. i know textures are a lot but if you're already gonna be in there 👀 ps - love everything you do and am forever grateful for what you do

2025-04-03 22:02:24 +0000 UTCyes, in my personal opinion the prices are a bit high. its easy to spend 1000 S on a grocery trip

2025-04-03 00:01:16 +0000 UTCHi! All recipes work!
Somik
2025-04-02 17:28:06 +0000 UTCMy only suggestion because everything you both do is perfect is I do prefer to have it in Simlish. Of course, adding more functional items and recipes but no complaints at all here.

2025-04-02 03:54:58 +0000 UTCHi ! i was just wondering if all the food is up to date? my game said they were broken mods but idk if it was just cursforge or all in general. i love it so much just want to make sure i can redownload it all:)

2025-03-29 06:04:25 +0000 UTCHi! I personally enjoy the higher prices. I also prefer simlish. And if I had to give a suggestion, I agree that compatibility with Home Chef Hustle would be amazing! Like prepped and chopped ingredients. In terms or recipes, I would love to see you make macaroons, edible fruit arrangements, korean food, middle eastern, more salads. I also love your functional food objects. And would love to see more alcoholic bottles and beverages. That being said, you're perfect creator. I love your content! Thank you for all you do for the sims community.

2025-03-29 04:54:05 +0000 UTCSS, I have been your fan since the beginning and have loved every CC you have made thus far! I am happy to pay the price based on the quality and have been doing so for years. I do have to say this is one of my most expensive subscriptions. Even with the starter membership, I am prevented from getting bulk downloads compared to other creators I sub to. If that feature can be unlocked, I would be happy if you would consider it. Thank you, as always! J

2025-03-28 00:39:52 +0000 UTCWe think your culinary mod is perfect ♥ without it, our game would be 200% boring and near unplayable, since cooking is the thing we love most to do while playing. Honestly we love that the products are not in simlish :P , the prices reflect the real truth and the graphics of your foods and groceries are great and we love that bakery items require pie crust or dough or sponge cake -> this adds so much fun, realism and dynamism to the game! you both are TOP!!! ♥ Thank you for sharing your talents with us all :)

2025-03-25 04:37:31 +0000 UTCI prefer lower prices (or maybe could offer organic version of item at current prices and a non-organic version of item that is at a lower price). I personally prefer simlish if possible. No matter what you do though, absolutely love all that you do <3
S
2025-03-24 21:36:09 +0000 UTCmaybe different stuff, like different type of apples. Like one brand is cheaper but has lower quality while the expensive one has better quality. That would make the mod more realistic. If it is there though i wouldn't know it's been a while since I last played.

2025-03-17 00:11:26 +0000 UTCI would love the Simlish version of the mod to fit better in the game enviorment, it's not a must, but would be really nice. I was wondering if you are planning to add the "family recipe" system to your mod, that would be lovely

2025-03-16 18:38:52 +0000 UTCI don't mind the prices; I budget aggressively IRL and enjoy having to do it in the Sims. I prefer Simlish, but it's not a big deal. I'm mostly worried about compatibility. Like having some items count as prepped ingredients so they really do save time if you have Home Chef Hustle. Maybe there could be an addon with items like cake/bread mix, shredded chicken, or pre-chopped veggies.

ADRIANA KENNALLY
2025-03-13 19:44:37 +0000 UTCPrice reduction would make sense, especially for Sims that are just starting out because the groceries are nearly unbuyable. I LOVE SIMLISH in my game, but I also LOVE your content, so yes I would love Simlish, but I will use your content either way!
ADRIANA KENNALLY
2025-03-13 19:44:11 +0000 UTCI love both suggestions

2025-03-13 16:57:46 +0000 UTCI'll think about it, thanks! maybe we can make a separate file that would add our menu to other kettles.
Somik
2025-03-13 13:30:52 +0000 UTCI love your mods! I would love you to incorporate choosing what meal to get from the fridge (similar to LSM’s choose leftover). Also, I don’t mind your prices; they’re quite reasonable. Thank you for all your hard work!
Alisha
2025-03-13 13:14:38 +0000 UTCI think it would be cool if you made it so that the kettle tea/coffee overrides all kettles with the drinks, love the mod but I've downloaded so many cute kettles I'd like to use too ðŸ˜

2025-03-12 14:29:09 +0000 UTCAdding moods and mudlets is not exactly our profile) unfortunately, you can hardly expect such updates from us. We are more like "techies")) We add buffs when needed, but no more.
Somik
2025-03-12 14:26:55 +0000 UTCI think the prices are ok, but I understand that making them a little cheaper would be good. I also love the simlish. I noticed some of the products (like the sausage and salmon) do not get used in the recipes. So if all the ingredients can be fixed that would be great! Thank you for making this mod, i love it!

2025-03-11 15:40:27 +0000 UTCAgreed as well.

2025-03-11 12:19:37 +0000 UTCI want to be able to use your mod with the simple living lot trait and now I don't think it is easy enough to get the ingredient for yor recepies. Please make a feature that let us buy allt the ingredients in one place.

2025-03-11 09:41:04 +0000 UTCHello! I personally think that well the products SHOULD be higher than the base game prices, as your products are "higher quality". However, some are like way high, and w/o rhyme or reasons if that makes sense. lol. So having some consistency with some price spikes should be there. I love the discussion above on a delivery service, I also think having more "snacks". You have the basic chip, cracker, nut, chocolate, but to see some store bought "junk" food like various cookies would be funny! I also personally think that adding various moodlets for children, to crave junk food, etc. I also think adding a moodlet for sims "going to the store" and buying products, with a happy moodlet, vs a upset moodlet based on cost, and or the annoyance potential that they had to go to the store would be funny bec let's face it, we happy are happy and annoyed for one reason or another on a shopping trip a time or two in our life! lol. I think adding in protein drinks, and other "fresh produce in a singular form (apple, squash, etc. that could be "Grown but isn't offered in the base game or EPs would be a cool touch) Various adult beverages, would be funny to add as well, as well. I think adding in more cereal options or breakfast options would be cool, as in "brands" (that goes for a few products.) Weight loss approved items that help your sim "cook healthy, and help lose weight" would be very cool & even potentially a meal replacement, or " weight gainer products like whey protein mix etc. Eitherway you guys are absolutely amazing, and I appreciate all you guys do!
Danielle Underwood
2025-03-11 05:38:53 +0000 UTCAgree. Some pricing doesnt make sense. As it was like 54$ for eggs LOL. Thought it seems were headed that way in price IRL. haha.
Danielle Underwood
2025-03-11 05:27:54 +0000 UTCI think if you put the pricing somewhere in the middle of EA pricing and what it is now, then that would be more realistic.
Ceta_Cea
2025-03-11 04:40:04 +0000 UTCI think the products are more on the expensive side. They shouldn’t be as low as EA prices but I think it should align with the actual in game economy. I play with no money cheats & simple living. It’s thousands of dollars a week just to stock a fridge with basics and I feel that’s too high.
Maranatha Mitchell
2025-03-11 01:29:42 +0000 UTCI feel like your food is very high quality so it's a treat for my poor sims when they have the money to make it, and it is standard for my well off sims. My sims are very good at making money so it hasn't been a problem. I don't play with the other mod that you mentioned, mainly because all of the items were in English instead of Simlish. I mention this on one other post. Sorry!
Toni Hawthorne
2025-03-10 22:44:00 +0000 UTCI know I'm probably the weird one here, but I like the prices of your foods being higher because they look higher quality. I really like the way you separate and organize recipes, and the functionality of the groceries in game. This is one of my favourite mods that has ever existed, to be fair, so you'll likely never ear me complain, as I refer people to this patreon a LOT since I've joined. Thank you for everything that you do <3

2025-03-10 18:52:02 +0000 UTCI personally don't think the prices are too high. Seems pretty indicative of what’s going on in the real world. The idea you suggested above for meal kits is actually what I came to suggest. And I don’t use the Simlish versions. the main reason I use your recipes is because of how realistic the texture and cooking animations are. So I personally like to extend that realism to using the English versions of everything.

2025-03-10 17:58:51 +0000 UTCI don't know about the scheduled one yet, but for example, it's definitely possible to make ready-made kits - it'll be easier than clicking a lot of products to fill a shopping cart) Thank you for the offer- it's very useful!

2025-03-10 17:55:31 +0000 UTCYes, we'll get to know the new feature that came with the latest catalog and try to adapt the mod.
Somik
2025-03-10 17:54:42 +0000 UTCI don’t think the prices need to be reduced. I prefer to have items that are not in simlish, It adds realism to the game just like how your food looks super realistic. I would love to see your recipes in the family recipes if possible. Possibly even overrides for the new items added
Cheri
2025-03-10 17:22:40 +0000 UTCi would love a grocery subscription or delivery service. With bigger families i often dont have time to go shopping. The prices are a little bit on the high side but until now i always managed to get by without a hassle. I just love that you take the time to make this mod even better for us. I only use your recipes because they look so beutiful. Thanks a lot!
Eve_In_Paradise
2025-03-10 17:21:28 +0000 UTCHi, yes for me i think the products are too expensive. I always cheat my sim's funds so i can have them order groceries (1k-2k for a full grocerie is what i found it cost). Maybe lower the prices down a bit would be a good idea. Especially for those who like to play with lower funds or something. The simlish version is great, love simlish versions of things.
Jeanna-simplysimmer
2025-03-10 17:18:09 +0000 UTCA scheduled grocery delivery service would be great. I never remember to keep it stocked and I always want to play with simple living on
Jennifer LaFaso
2025-03-10 17:06:35 +0000 UTCI don't think the products are too expensive and, even it they are, that just makes it more realistic for me personally. I do really like having similsh versions of things in my game, though. It makes everything feel more cohesive.
