Practice doodle based on AI-generated pic
Added 2023-02-02 13:26:53 +0000 UTCI think I'm done. I actually finished it earlier but wasn't sure if I'll want to add a background or something. But nah, I think it's enough for just practicing the style.
I actually did a little experiment - I went to one of those "AI detectors" and gave it this image. It was drawn from scratch, sketched out, inked, and then colored, just by looking at an AI-generated picture. And guess what? AI detector was 98% sure that this was drawn by AI.
So either I'm actually a robot, or AI-detection is based on general style and composition (I added freckles and adjusted the colors compared to the original) and that means that the artists whose works were used to train the model could be detected as AI-generated too :/ Kinda lame.
In any case, I'll probably draw a bit more in this style, it was very fun.

For art I’ve always assumed AI will just be able to do the job faster not better so overall your work is so good it wouldn’t know the difference. This type of art feels like one area where AI won’t be able to “do it better” where it might in manufacturing or areas where precision and repeatability can make a difference. But just in case you are AI, will you put in a good word for me with the evil robot overlords when the revolution starts???
