Chicken for scale ;) I'm testing a slightly different style of sketches to make the demons more appealing I guess. But yeah, I know you guys still like bunny girls more.

Interesting. We already have an engine inside us (muscles), I will have to look into our physiology to see how "powerful" we can be. I can see an endurance issue here, ie. we get exhausted kinda easily; Flexibility is an essential reason I can see, true. Here we kinda get also into the issue, meteorite and volcanic environment put aside, why we don't see anything larger than elephant walking on land nowadays. No matter how awesome is watching the creature from Cloverfield, Godzilla or even Jaegers from Pacific Rift walk around, powering the whole structure hidden inside is too ineffective for this world (Earth). I bet we would eat dinosaurs into extinction, if they existed. That's why we don't have wings too. But of course your comic is out of this world, pun intended. BTW I would be terrified, if that demon I expect to growl and behave kinda like an animal would suddenly have a discussion with me...

2020-03-02 11:01:39 +0000 UTCSome of them can but definitely not all. A wheel seems to be too complicated for what you can gain. Without an engine it's no better than a stump in any other shape. It's hard to move using it and has less flexibility than arms/legs.
