I think the two barf jokes read differently, for what it's worth. The older one is more focussed on the impossibility of the act, while the current one is just Nick reacting completely inappropriately (but also completely in character) to Sweetheart briefly letting down her guard emotionally. In general, I think this week has a lot of really strong character-based humor. "What's the tipping protocol for all this?" is just a really great Tip line.
