New Transfigure Art Preview

Hey everyone. I am finishing up the newest Transfigure build. I hope to have it out within a week or so. I had a few really late nights working on the game so I’m sorry I didn’t get a post out. I made several hundred more pieces of art bringing the current total to nearly 2000 or about 4x the amount in the current demo. The struggle is connecting the islands of content and getting rid of placeholders. As I started to focus on connecting to the new content the past week or so, I noticed there were still a lot of gaps. This is mainly because I’ve been working on an alphabetically sorted list so it led to some weirdness with art for later stories being finished before earlier stories. It all has to be finished eventually but that wasn’t ideal for this current release. I just wanted to keep my productivity numbers as high as possible so that the game can reach html parity and push into its final evolution.

There is still a lot of art to be done especially on the animation side but I am rapidly filling the game in with stills that can later be animated. There is new art, music, voice work and some remade sprites so that characters have more similar themes and proportions.

I don’t want to over promise and under deliver but my goal is to have two releases this month and get out of this awkward middle ground with mixed art towards the more unified style.
