Howdy.
Art and status post time!
So far this month I finished the ZMP section of the script and the Bloomverse has been added as well. Over half of the existing ends are in the script and I just have a few sections left to edit and complete to reach text parity with the html version. The audio work is mostly finished as well, giving me a large archive of appropriate music and sound effects all organized for the next chapter of production. I have finalized several character graphics as well.
The bustier Sam model won the last vote as expected but it was closer than I anticipated. I redid a bunch of CG to update the new appearance. I have also tried to get a head-start on some of the more difficult scenes. To that end, I have created many of the minor characters that appear within the story such as Agent 77 and the trainer on Ari’s route. I got fox ears with the hair textures matched for Taylor’s model as well as a pirate for the popular Halloween scenes.
I also solved another difficult scene issue for the other content in the Bloomverse areas. This section with the moth is probably one of Transfigure’s weirdest stories but I think both of the other major endings are entertaining and there is some cool background lore so it is here to stay even if a lot of people find it strange. Since I can’t make a decent moth graphic I bought one. I went with the Death’s Head species (foreshadowing? 😛).
I included several new shots of Samantha as well as some bonus Hart content I had kicking around.
The demo has had a number of minor tweaks and some bug fixes. It still needs Jimmy’s party alternate shots. My dilemma here is Jimmy and Rhea’s models need to be updated otherwise it will look odd later on but then I need to redo a bunch of earlier assets. I also want to fix the bugged bonus gallery by adding and replacing some extra images so that it displays and works correctly but that is a lower priority. I also am moving the middle finger graphic to the gallery area and am trying to make a more appropriate intro title screen.
Most games with a large story and cast like Transfigure would probably show a crowd to demonstrate this scale and preview various characters and transformations. That’s probably what I am going to do unless someone has a better (simple) idea they would like to share.
Back to the drawing board. I will see you all at the end of the month!
