Status and Website stuff

Hi friends! I have been meaning to post a release instead of just a status update but with the whole Patreon review last month, I took some extra work plus it is already my busy season so I am still trying to get caught up on everything I want to do. I started a lot of branches recently which evolved into even more as is prone to happening, which is a roundabout way of saying I’m writing but only what I am in the mood for and less on the other requests. I will finish them all eventually but sometimes it is hard to turn on the mojo with a creative project coupled with all the other distractions and stressors I have going on in my life at the moment.

Release wise, I am still not quite finished but I have the next few days free to finish it. I am going to give ‘er tonight and then that should line up for an update late tomorrow or early Saturday morning.

Also last month with the whole review board thing I started to design and build an independent website for Tango Fiction while looking into alternative business models.

It was a bit of a distraction but it has been something I have been meaning to do anyway for a long time. The reason I haven’t released a starter page yet is because the two domains I wanted (tangofiction.com and transfigure.com) are taken by some flimsy looking companies.

What do you think I should do in the website department? If anyone has some feedback there I'd appreciate it.

Anyway, sorry for being slow and not posting. My wings are flapping so something will happen eventually.

I am just doing a quick errand and then adding one more Evan section to end in a nicer spot then I will release later tonight.

I am still fitting the final pieces together but I am super-almost-kinda close to releasing something. ETA less than a day.

Thanks, Miro! I have similar thoughts. I was thinking an independent website per game might be nice but I am trying to keep things streamlined and easy to manage.

Dot com domains aren't as special as they used to be. Discord is nice for communication but you probably want a website for releases and big posts. As well as file hosting if you decide to go that route. I'd say go with tango over transfigure for a name because you may have future games with different names.
