Book Poll

Hey everyone!

I will post a status update in a couple days. In the meantime... I had a question on my mind lately after looking through some of my notes.

Hypothetically speaking, would you read a Tango Fiction novel?

Comments

Thanks, J.D! What types of novels do you usually read?

You hav nothing to lose. I enjoy your story telling and i think if you interested in writing a novel (even a short novel or novella) you should just take the chance

Yeah, it is definitely a challenging market. Still, I think there is always a market for quality. I was just thinking some of the stories I have already started are linear and kind of one offs. They make sense as independent stories even if they are just patched up and released as bonus content. I appreciate all the comments!

Ugh Ranma didn't age well for me. Like there is a huge e-book market, and I do read a lot of romance novels, but I'm not sure how much of those are going to other authors. From what I understand from someone in the biz, in today's ebook market the bulk of the income goes to people who know how to package their work properly, and then Amazon changed an algorithm and now selling books would be weird.

I am just curious what the consensus is. I noticed that there is a huge market and interest for romance stories. I've looked at some of them that sell well and I am just sort of mystified. Also I am pretty sure 50 Shades is like the most popular book after the Bible or something like that. I was also thinking that a rated R version of Transfigure that is rewritten could be a pretty entertaining TV show. Ranma was decades ago and is still funny. Anyway, really appreciate the feedback.

It really depends. I mean, somebody is making Erotic Choose Your Own Adventure Novels. While I read books all the time it's a "thing I do when I'm away from my computer" thing.
