Status Report

I spent a few extra hours trying to get my VR demo in a readable state to release to patrons but as I was putting the stories in game I realized I made a mistake.  Like a lot of the stories I have written for Transfigure, this demo is made up of some things I had written several years ago… so it requires more than a basic editing pass since all the material is kind of cobbled together.  The main issue is that the story is actually meant to be two full stories with multiple endings that are set inside the same game world.  I think what I originally planned to do was somehow merge them together but as I was writing and going through the passages I realized that is not a good idea nor is it really desirable or possible since the stories are fairly unique.  I thought I had one more or less complete story but what I actually have are two very incomplete stories that overlap a bit.  So what I am going to do is just split them within the same twine game.  There will be a short story with a few different endings and then a much larger expansion sequel set in the same world.

Because I cant use most of the pre-written content as is, it means this will take more time to edit and patch.  Plus, since it is already a side project, it probably won't be complete for quite a while.  However, I still intend to complete a short demo in the foreseeable future.  Then, I plan to gradually complete several of these concept demos and then let patrons pick which get developed once Transfigure has won me an Erotic Emmy (lol).

The first part will have a smaller cast and revolve around a man who convinces his wife to play a cutting edge VR game with him.  Depending on your choices, you will either play your own character or get forced into your wife’s character in the midst of a very high stakes game.  You then must survive at any cost, transforming and fighting yourself and others in order to find a way to escape from the game world.

The 2nd part of the project will focus on randomness and is about a fairly large cast of characters that are forced into random roles and must adapt and work together or perish.  I find several of the themes here to be really interesting and I always get a chuckle out a big gruff manly-man being turned into a little girl.

As for Transfigure, I have finished up enough content for another update already but I am just trying to flesh out some of the director requests as well as locate some suitable pics which have been the hardest media so far to find.  It definitely sucks that Little Caprice has not done any decent group scenes except for minor threesomes and the like.  Normally it is really easy, “obscure shoe on head porn” - 80 billion results.  So if anyone has some “group activities” media suggestions with a brunette model that is close to Caprice/Taylor let me know.

Last but not least, I am going to try to have Transfigure Alternative by Lucia87 out before xmas because I feel a bit bad it has been sitting here for a couple months now.  Now that I have a  better handle on the VR demo, Transfigure Alt is probably the closest to release side project so I want to get that done ASAP.  Lucia has been really sweet and patient too.  The only thing I am not completely sold on is some of the media choices but I am going to leave them as is for brevity’s sake (at least for now).  I personally don’t want/expect to find perfect media for every scene, but I feel it should be as close as possible without becoming ridiculous.  What this threshold should be is up for debate since some people find it completely immersion breaking if it isn’t the same model as implied while others don't care at all as long as the hair color's match.

For other story threads:  I wrote a bunch of stuff last week including a couple thousand words for the Mitch romance route along with some other random additions.  After I get the strip poker / group activities event finished, I will fill in the rest of the update with something that fills in the rest of the space. 

I think it will take another week or so to finish up and polish the next update.  I will keep everyone posted.
