Random Bonus Ren'Py Demo

Hello!

Here is a special exclusive bonus for all my patrons.  This is a very short demo I made in Ren’Py years ago in order to test how easy it was to make a visual novel.

The story and characters are from X change alternative, one of the games that Transfigure is partially based on.

I really liked the game but was really annoyed and disappointed by several routes so I wrote my own.  Many of these stories I wrote have gradually evolved into Transfigure.  I also wrote some Student Transfer stories as well so I might submit those or just change the names/edit and add to Transfigure.

This demo may contain slight minor spoilers of the original game and also will likely overlap with some upcoming TF content (Mitch romantic route).  Sengoku = the character Mitch is based upon for the most part.

Please don’t have high expectations for this.  It is short and has a few bugs/ dead paths I have not fixed because the project doesn’t really have a purpose atm.  There are only a few scenes and one has no graphics.  There is no story.  I was going to upload this before but it was so broken and short I decided not to... I am reconsidering now because I think a few people might like to see the concept just to get an idea of how some future projects might unfold.  Better than just sitting on my HD....

If you haven’t played the original Crowd games, they are pretty good for the most part, although many are somewhat ridiculous and have mediocre translations.

Oh!  While I am talking about translations, I realized I have another valuable skill some patrons might be interested in.  I have a large archive of rare games and I have translated quite a bit of the content.  I am not sure of the legality or ethics of it, but I might translate some of the best rare Japanese visual novels into quality English if I ever run out of things to do in ten years.

An example of a Japanese translation: "the expression differential difference character difference etc is matched"

=wtf???? 

Translated from Engrish to English: Each CG has multiple character's expression changes/multiple variations.  

Understanding and good translations are important to enjoy many of these games.

I wrote some decent stuff for Transfigure today too.  I hope to release another game demo for my VR project in the next week or so.
