Gone Fishin'

Hey everyone!  I am heading out later today.  I will be back in about two weeks.  Glancing at the recent polls, I will probably work on some Evan / Julie & Ryan content next month and most likely while I am out too if I find the desire.  I do often write a fair bit on trips like this so we will have to see.

Going forward with the polls I am going to try and do them a bit more like Gatekeeper/Aftermath Team.  He does his polls so the winner's votes get reset while the others stack, so that even content with less support will eventually build up into a focused update.  Great guy and talented writer too by the way :P Been meaning to write a shout out post to thank him- will have to do that when I get back since this post is already long.

I might also check out the patreon app if I have time but no promises since I might not have internet or a cell signal.

Also on my personal to do list will be some card worshiper and some spy stuff along with whatever tickles my fancy in the moment.  I did write a bit more of Drew's story over the past couple days along with a scene I thought was hilarious but I pitched it to a friend and he didn't crack a smile so maybe I need to keep working on that.... hehe

I have also looked through and started editing the Transfigure Alternative story by Lucia87, our fanfic contributor, and now have a handle on what connection scenes and development will be needed to merge it into the game and to make it ... make sense.  Overall, I would say it will turn out to be in a slightly different style (inevitable) but should be pretty enjoyable and high quality.  I have added, changed, rephrased etc a bunch of stuff but I think it will end up ~80% Lucia and 20% or so me which I think will be a good blend.  Lucia's interpretation of Taylor's inner monologue is definitely "girlier" than I was expecting so it will most likely get inserted around the end of the current Mitch content.

Looking at the calendar, I noticed that it was almost 1 year ago today when I started to convert the initial Transfigure stories into a Twine game.  It took another 6 months of sporadic work to get to the point where I felt comfortable sharing it with the public.  Since that first public release, the last 6 months have been pretty active.  I think we have come a long way, although I think it is pretty obvious I still have a lot of work, editing, and polish to do.  Creating things takes a long time.  Creating great things often takes even longer.  If you are working on something special in your spare time, keep at it!  Even the greatest structures in the world are still built one piece at a time.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great conclusion to their summer and I hope I don't get haunted by a fish ghost.
