Status Report!

Hello Tango Fiction Friends!

I hope everyone is well.

For starters, there was a weird Patreon shitstorm this month (due to them transferring payment services to the UK) and a lot of credit cards declined and possibly were flagged for fraud.  I hope no one got screwed by this (aside from me) but looking at the roster there was about 30% declined initially and still around 10% of you who previously pledged and paid but are now declined for this month.

I even felt a little bit guilty as a saw a lot of $1s decline.  I was like: “Guys, I love you but if I am taking your last dollar please just unpledge and wait for the next free update :P”

But it wasn’t our fault!

I admit this really bothers me.  I really dislike Patreon’s censorship but to not have a functioning payment platform on top of that? Yikes…  So some of you might have to call your bank and get your card unfrozen so you can buy a latte later.   Patreon’s customer service is also surprisingly responsive if  you want to shoot them a note too.  I am hopeful this is just a one off and it will be resolved next month.

I wish there was a solid Patreon alternative so that at least some competitive pressure could be placed on these guys.  I know there have been a few of you who have left specifically because of Patreon issues and then came back purely because you want to support artists and creators that you love.  That is touching.  I can say with certainty that all of us appreciate it.  Without patrons most of this art would not exist.

On the writing front:

I went a bit overboard with the last update so I still have some leftover work non related to Tango Fiction to complete.

Progress wise, I have written the first few pages of the update and put about a thousand words in game.  I am trying to work towards the Tailor Made Taylor Maid #2 scene and progressing Drew’s story towards its romantic and explicit endings (where Taylor “acquires” Drew’s fetish.).

Bloom completes her first experiments.  She responds and gives Taylor good and bad news.  There will be some new minor revelations about Taylor’s condition and a timetable for salvation is put in motion.

Then we have this 2pooky4me date scene in a creepy abandoned hospital (how romantic!). I hope people voted for this because they are interested in some of the mysterious backstories.  A typical woman might not appreciate such an adventure but luckily Taylor is far from the norm!  

I also brainstormed a few ideas for the next Damien potion and put up a vote.  The leaders right now are continuing the yellow potion and testing a potion that triggers a transformation based on what Taylor is looking at during the experiment… And of course people pick the possibility Taylor looks at a photo of Damien’s step sister (pervs!).  Damien’s creepo meter might just explode after this transformation!

I think the next update will take me 10-14 days to complete but I will update again as I get closer to finishing one.  I am about 15% complete and have outlined most of what I want to include.  I also found a very creepy video of people breaking into the (exact) abandoned hospital I picked so I will try and include at least some pieces of that.

Will Drew and Taylor find evidence of a Transfigure conspiracy?  Or will they have the best or worst date of their lives?
