Lil update for July

I have been warned this extra "fanfic" story is ~50k words... meaning even if the quality is really high it will take a lot of time to edit.  I haven't seen the story yet so I am not sure how much time/ work this will require. In general, editing is faster than writing from scratch but it is also tedious. L wants to send it to me next week sometime so I will evaluate when I get it.  I will probably just start with a small demo 5-10k words of that content and see what the consensus/reaction is otherwise if it is good I will just keep adding it.

The new story continues an offshoot on Mitch's route following the allure of drugs and excitement leading to some awkward and sexy situations.  Will Taylor get caught in the middle of international arms smuggling ring?  Will Taylor go undercover in a brothel? Submit to sex and drugs? Get shot in the head?  We will have to wait and see...

Update wise, I have written over 10k more words but a lot of it comes after the early Damien scenes I have been focusing on lately so I need to patch a scene or two in the middle before it is complete and makes sense.  Still several hours of editing and a play test left.  (There was weird stuff like Damien strips the character naked and then removes her panties 3x...  since some of the scenes got mashed together).  Will try and finish it this morning but I might not quite make it.

So I am close to another update and will try to push one out this week but it might be close since I have a week of full time (other) work to complete and then I have a family reunion this weekend where I have to help setup and the like and I think I got volunteered to be a bartender.  That is essentially the month of July done... yikes (anyone notice that time seems to accelerate as you age?)

Tango Fiction has been public for nearly 5 months!  O.o  Time flies.  I am actually kind of surprised we have as advanced so far.  In big part it is thanks to you patrons!

It has also been decided by unanimous decree of the directors that August will be "the month of Drew."  I will probably make the update similar to this upcoming one: with one main character focus. The votes came in with "abandoned building" date taking the lead... that's not creepy at all!  I googled a bunch of dead buildings and I found some good ones... it looks like the first date will take place in an abandoned hospital.  I am already scared.  "Was this place really owned by Transcorp?"  Will another ghost appear?  You will just have to wait and see :P
