Q: Where do the ideas for Transfigure come from?

Short Answer:The ideas come from all over the place and from many different sources. From all manner of media and content types (erotic and non) all the way directly to you. Often the fan suggestions I get are now better than what I originally outlined. That is really cool and I try and take these suggestions seriously - especially if I think they are good.
Long Answer: Basically the ideas come from my own imaginings concerning established tropes and themes pulled from random content. This includes hundreds if not thousands of authors and games and other sources. Generally, it the ideas and motivation arise from me being intrigued and turned on but not completely satisfied by something that I consumed. I can’t count the number of times I have been blue-balled by something that was just immensely erotic and then goes…nowhere, or suddenly the writer takes a left turn and you end up in some weird place that you find ultimately unsexy. (This is how I feel about sudden onset futa content for example, yet strap on is really fucking hot...dunno…). The number of incomplete games on tfgamesite that will make you read 50-100k words for a 1 line blowjob scene are painful. That is why, even from the first release, this game had a lot of erotic content. I wanted to satisfy readers from the start. I think I am doing that since the viewership and number of likes keeps growing while being counterbalanced by almost unanimously positive reviews and… quiet (the threads are surprisingly inactive, I often notice other games have 100s of pages of arguments and flame wars and criticisms, mine is just polite and civil, all peaceful. I assume everyone is just waiting patiently...quietly reading and fapping, lol).
Back to the original topic: I eventually started writing what I envisioned would be a fairly simple fan made sequel for Xchange alt, since I thought it was really good but that it dived away from all the good story lines. It was hot and had some interesting scenarios but it was also unsatisfying - this idea is the root of my (and most other people’s imo) creative process.
The idea was to make Transfigure feel familiar, so in that way it will reuse a lot of ideas, most heavily X-Change. I rewrite everything so even if an idea is originally borrowed it isn’t plagiarism, especially since the themes and variations appear in a variety of content and media and have been used in fiction a billion times. Some examples to further illustrate would be the inspiration/evolution of some of the specific content. Ryan’s route, for example, is based upon an unreleased fan fiction I wrote continuing Tufty’s the Weekend story (Francis). I love Tufty but holy moly did I ever feel blue balled reading that story. I was like “Take it somewhere!!” and then decided to do it myself in my own manner. (Full credit to Tufty for the inspiration too. Great writer. Took me ages to replaces Francis > Ryan and make various minor changes. I was paranoid I let it slip through and it would break immersion.)
Mitch’s route is inspired by XCA’s Sengoku stuff that doesn’t go anywhere but should have. Lots more. I even try and reference a few of these influences directly/indirectly within the story. Maybe you can spot some!
All ideas and words are recycled. It’s 2018. But maybe I can draw upon some of the best, and through their amalgamation, transfigure them.
Thanks for reading. If you have a neat idea you think would fit in well with the story feel free to shoot me a message.
