Large Transfigure Update

Hello everyone!   This is one of Transfigure’s key story updates.  I think I am hitting my stride.  I really like the new content and I think you patrons will as well.  I am not joking when I say Transfigure will be a well written piece of erotic fiction. I am very proud of the additions and their implications.  The different timelines are simmering nicely.  The new story and transformation mechanics are marvelous from a development point of view.  I think this is one of the most significant updates so far (perhaps even in regards to the whole project)  and I hope you patrons agree and can start to visualize at least a piece of what I have in mind. Please let me know what you think of the update- comments, no matter what they are, drive production.

I also wanted to thank all the patrons that have joined me over the past month. Having people that obviously share the same passion and see the potential here is a huge motivator. Your presence and support has truly inspired me to put not only a lot of hours into the project but also a lot of effort and love.

With this update, some of you will notice that the story mechanics are now open as well as the opportunity to use literally any picture or clip I desire on the net.

And to the few doubters who say I will never finish such an ambitious project - I say give me a few months. I designed Transfigure to be about a year long project and I spent quite a bit of time in pre-production. I am already on what I imagined would be July's content and have completed about 35% of the base story which is far larger than the vast majority of other similar games.

I am also trying to not blue ball anyone - content will be out when finished.  So April might be a bit light on "awesome ideas" but consistent production will continue.

I thought I was close to spent half way through March but 50k words and 2 major updates later...

Also for anyone curious about the Patreon scheme. I do intend to follow the proven model of tiered releases but I am trying to balance this with the need for growth. So, until I get out of cat-food territory, I will do public releases earlier than once intended. I intend to give you patrons exclusives but I want to get another update out before the end of the month so that I can hopefully grab a couple more patrons. I hope no one is bothered by this - the more people that join us the sooner we can get to regular releases and I can focus on working on what I think is a very special piece of fiction.  In the future, the exclusives will be at least a week long.

One last thing: I tried to reformat some of the earlier content into paragraphs...I think it looks pretty decent but adding the stupid p-tags takes so long and requires me trouble shooting every passage multiple times.  I understand why most twine games do not have indents and proper looking formatting.  I will probably let people vote later.  Quick and easy twine, or wall of text code that is hard to edit but displays nicely to the viewer (html paragraphs).

-added the start of "Real Roux", the generic heterosexual path that will tie many of the loose ends into a single route. Includes a masturbation scene. Take "call it a night" Evan route to see it. Eventually most of the "opt out" choices from your two friends will lead here.

-added "bad" end 17, found by walking home alone after the concert.

-started the "Best Friends Route" leads to a urination/bathroom scene.

-filled in the option to politely refuse Mitch's advances and let him down gently. One dangling thread tied!

-added the start of Craig Bell's route, begun by an unexpected email exchange. (respecting Drew's privacy)

-fixed a couple eye colour contradictions caused by me adding character pictures that were different than their initial descriptions.

-Also testing a new "novel" formatting style for the the intro content. Let me know what you think. Still trying to find an easy way to bypass twine deleting indents.

-added Taylor's mirror epiphany, a very important scene with huge story implications and options for body modifications. Some readers may begin to piece together parts of what has happened to Taylor. I really like this part because it opens up so much story potential in my opinion. Stay tuned- shit is going to get crazy.
