Fun Facts Series #3

---
My intention when starting this story was to allow the reader to explore all the romantic possibilities if they wanted to, leading to certain moments and comments from the characters that would be, at the very least, awkward for everyone involved, lol! And if the reader continued to flirt with multiple characters simultaneously, it would trigger the option to choose the love triangle route.
However, I soon realized that it wouldn’t work because the characters' personalities don’t suit a love triangle scenario. Each character would have their own reasons to distance themselves from the MC, allowing another character to pursue a relationship with them.
Rayco/Gara already have reasons to avoid falling in love with the MC (which, if you’ve read their route already, you know how much they fail lol!), and a love triangle would give them the perfect excuse to let them go.
Leire/Luca have never experienced love and therefore don’t understand their feelings. They struggle with emotions, and being involved in a love triangle would confuse them even more and make them distance themselves from the MC to avoid those feelings.
Albert/Lavina have very low self-esteem. If they already believe they aren’t enough for the MC, imagine their reaction with another person in the mix, especially if that person is their sibling! Ultimately, they would give up and stop pursue the MC.
Ada/Omar neither seek nor want a romantic relationship and take longer to fall in love with the MC. By the time they realize one of their friends is interested in the MC, they would stop flirting and trying to sleep with them, which is exactly what they do in the other ROs routes.
I must add that this also worked out for me since coding the love triangles would have been a lot of work, and I didn’t want to overwhelm myself with my first story. Maybe one day I’ll create a love triangle in another interactive novel ;)
