The warrior glances at you and their sibling from the corner of their eyes. "I am aware of my sibling's... affection, and I'm happy as long a they are."
"Aww, LL..." AL lets out with a genuine smile.
However, LL's expression remains serious as they fix their narrowed gaze on you. "But, if MC hurts them in any way..." Their hand rests on the hilt of their sword, their thumb unseathing the weapon with a sharp sound that makes you swallow hard. "I'll make them bleed."
You tense on your seat, but you force yourself to sit straighter, your voice unwavering as you reply, "I would never hurt AL, that I swear."
LL raises an eyebrow. "Really?"
AL sighs tiredly, shooting a reproachful look at their sibling. "LL..."
"Really," you say with a nod. "Now..." You eye the sharp edge of their weapon, wincing as the light of the lamp makes it glint threateningly. You point at it with a nervous chuckle. "...could you put that away, please?"
LL shoots you an amused smirk, their hand playing with the hilt of their sword, making it spin from one side to the other. "Why? If what you say is true, then you have nothing to worry about, do you MC?"
You're not sure if they're teasing you, warning you, or threatening you.
Probably all at the same time.
