Website Move and Updates

Dear Readers,

Over the past few days, I've had to invest a lot of time moving A Blossom of Flames from Royal Road to my own website, which I had to build completely from scratch. That wasn't something I had planned for, but unfortunately it became necessary to make sure the story can continue safely and in the way it was meant to be.

I'll continue maintaining a mirror of A Blossom of Flames on Royal Road, though with some changes moving forward to make sure it fully complies with their content guidelines. The complete and intended version will always be available via Patreon and on my website.

The new website honestly isn't bad. You can browse through all my stories there, leave comments, bookmark favorites, and even listen to the stories with built-in text-to-speech. If you have an account, you can follow stories to get updates whenever I post something new.

Soon you as patrons will also be able to connect your Patreon accounts directly and read early access chapters right on the site if you want. But of course, you can choose what works best for you.

ABoF has already moved and Saccharine will follow soon. Which will be a bit more work. Setting everything up so far took many hours I honestly would've preferred to spend writing.

Saccharine in particular, as you know, includes a lot of in-universe documents, chats, websites, and so on, which I had previously painstakingly adapted to work with Royal Road's blue box system (on Patreon I have to use images for that). Now I've had to rebuild all of that again for my website. The good news is, that this will look much better than before.

And of course, having my own website means I can tell my stories exactly as I want to tell them and keep having them accessible even if they get deleted on one platform or another.

Still, this unexpected detour cost a lot of time and energy, so releases for Saccharine will be a bit slower than I had originally planned. A Blossom of Flames, however stays right on schedule here on Patreon and will continue in a few hours with the Prologue of Book 3. Stay tuned!
