And with Sabrina in this discussion, I think Debut is a great place to start. I mean, Sabrina's career in a lot of ways started because she covered Picture to Burn and that helped disney discover her, which leads to where we are now. We saw a similar thing with Sabrina and Christina on her Debut 25th anniversary, Sabrina was a natural fit because Christina was one of her influences and because Sabrina was born the same day Genie in a Bottle was released. I see a similar energy here and I think it could be something cool

2025-03-10 22:53:32 +0000 UTCA looooong time ago like pre eras tour when Sabrina and Taylor first started to be friends/photographed together (+ then she was made an eras opener) I wondered if she would be ever featured on a re-recording, and my initial thought was she would make the most sense on rep, but after short and sweet came out + all these country twangy acoustic moments on top of it + then the recent Dolly feature I’ve been really hyper-fixating on the idea that Sabrina could be featured on Debut (even if it’s just backing vocals or something similar to Maren Morris on You All Over Me). Obviously I (and I would think most people) would prefer someone historically country/directly relevant to Debut era Taylor like Shania, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, etc. but I just think having Sabrina vocals in the mix would be soooo concerning

Matcha powder should be bright, rich green, and just slightly mellowed by the milk if you use it in a latte. Ippoddo is my favorite brand. That's that me matcha deserves to be better <3

And this makes me excited for next week because i know you two are going to absolutely love her tour and it's going to be so much fun to watch. The point you bring up about her acting is really interesting because she's said in interviews that she thinks her acting ability makes her music better and especially in please please please where she's begging this guy to not embarrass her and has to get into that character. The connection from please/slim pickins I think is definitely there. Sabrina and Jack and Amy Allen made Please, Slim Pickins, and half of Lie to Girls in the same day and I like to think of Please as the child of Slim Pickins and Lie to Girls. In Please, she's aware that this guy maybe isn't right for her but there's not much out there anyway, so she's just begging him to not embarrass her. At least nor in front of her where she can't lie to herself about this guy. And I think thats a perfect mix of the sentiments in Slim Pickins and Lie to Girls

I'm assuming they recorded this last week cause it started again on Monday and the wifi was so bad in the arena in Dublin that the beginning of each song cut out and the last half just didn't have anyone streaming. They would've missed basically everything that fans love about the tour

The guy sitting down (the 3 foot 8 guy) is playing a steel guitar. which is used frequently on Debut, most noticeably in Invisible, in that crazy sound that comes in after the few bars of guitars at the beginning. That is why this is giving you Debut vibes; steel guitars are really only used in country music among pop genres, and I'm not sure even Jack Antonoff or Aaron Dessner can play one, even though they can play everything. It is a specialized skill.
