2024-04-03 14:37:02 +0000 UTCi did some research & Clare Turton (the one with the really short hair) is no longer a backup singer of taylor's. this must've been one of if not her last performances because a new singer name Jeslyn Gorman joined on the opening night of Rep tour and has been a backup singer for taylor since. the other 3 girls have been taylor's backup singers since Red. it's kind of cool because the 4 girls are called the Starlights which is perfect because 3 of them have been there since Red and obviously Starlight is a song from Red!

Criminally overlooked in her discography and her version being the fucking masterpiece it is this needs to happen! This whole performance just hurts me so much because you see how unsure she is and that the fans were that 'crack of light' for her and just knowing how happy she was with Joe also hurts since it takes me back to the golden hue of a relationship I was in during that same time period...Every single song is a subliminal message to the hell she was going through at the time from and the angst she needed to release from "I Knew You Were Trouble" to "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" to "All Too Well" and then of course "Bad Blood"...This glorious woman is a FUCKING MiRACLE...I mean that version of "Out of The Woods"....WHAT!!! She had to plan out the songs so she wouldn't wind herself too quickly and struggle for breath which can be exhausting and very stressful. I don't know if this is true or not, but I can see her point.

She sounds so young and kind of tomboyish and urgent and it's just very interesting - I can definitely see how the original ATW would leave fans clamoring for more of the story

I remember this because I loved the AT&T era of Taylor because I had AT&T lol (still do) It was the only time I was glad I was on it lol this show was like 90 minutes. They cut a few songs, including the first time she played Better Man at a show. The set list had 22,Style, This Is What You Came For, Better Man,WANGBT, Love Story and Enchanted/Wildest Dreams mash up. This show was part of her AT&T contract. It was aired on Direct TV’s Taylor Swift Now. I think you two would be great at the backing vocal/dancer jobs with Taylor! 😀

Red (86), 1989 (85) & rep (53) were all much shorter so those songs didn't get as many opportunities. Plus those Debut songs were also done when she opened for Brad Paisley and other shows she did back then.

According to the swiftball, in the international dates, the champagne problems chant in the last show of one city is always shorter, and all the shows in Tokyo is shorter due to the noise control. The full length of 'last night' show is also shorter than other shows (for about 10-15 min)

2024-03-28 09:18:38 +0000 UTCokay, haven't finished watching yet, but I just had to say, to me it feels like something she would be forced to do at the time (especially after the as far as I know part)... it was football related, therefore probably planned months in advance, we know her label was not being very accommodating to her already at this point, it just seems to me that if she had signed a contract or something they would not help her get out of it... I hate to think of it like this, but it just gives me this kind of vibe unfortunately, and even though Taylor always had more creative control than pretty much everyone, some contractual things you just can't get out of... also, about her vocal technic: obvs, it did change and can hear the results, but let's not forget what her body was going through at this point (or before) - not sure when she started to heal and eat healthier etc, but an ED takes a toll on the body, incl. vocal cords and breath control etc

Not sure when that coke sponsorship ended but I know she's been offered to headline many, many times. Its common for the super bowl to also pick people who come from the city the super bowl is played in.

2024-03-28 04:05:24 +0000 UTCIt was Happiness that she said was written a week before Evermore was released, but it makes sense that Evermore had that sort of last-minute addition, because it was probably the most unexpected of all her albums. She didn't expect to keep writing after Folklore, and we know there was some form of delay regarding Evermore because the vinyls were released much later, implying there wasn't enough time between her turning it in and releasing it for them to produce them. Which reminds me that I think there's some element of falsity to her saying she didn't tell her label about Folklore until the week before they put it out, because there's no way they could've produced the vinyls for release in that amount of time. It would have been an Evermore type of situation if that were the case.

I feel like melodies would really stick with her and part of processing the break up/down of their relationship would be learning to forget all the little melodies Joe made up.
