Anyway, to end on a positive note: it is amazing how much her vocals improved over the years <3

While all the tourists wait in line (and pay $$) to go up the Empire State Building, we know the better option is to go, not to the observation deck, but to the bar at Top of the Rock and enjoy a drink while taking in the amazing view. I guess the secret’s out now.

The Kennedy's are kind of New England royalty but to the Rhode Island set they would still be new money. Worse still is the fact it's well known how they made their fortune during Prohibition. I don't know much about her families history other than the fandom knowledge. I know people like to say her parents were rich but I don't think it was generational wealth, not of the kind that buys a Rhode Island summer home type of wealth. I think they were upper middle class and successful and certainly had privileges but it wasn't the insane wealth she has now.

I'm so glad her vocals with these songs improved once the tour happened, because there were some rougher moments in this, but you can tell she was PUTTING THE EFFORT IN! Love how shes acknowledged that improvement was needed and she made it happen

Also, she dives deep into the making of a few songs (clean, I know places….) and shows behind the scenes audios and videos from the studio! It‘s one of my favorite interviews from the 1989 era because it‘s something we‘ve never gotten since (maybe the making of reputation videos, but she doesn‘t sit down and explains the elements of the tracks there)

She knows everyone there was chosen because they are big fans. She doesn't have to Impress them, so she is more relaxed. It is that relaxed vibe that I miss most, even though I completely understand why she can't do them anymore.
