The closest I will ever get to seeing the concert! 😭 I mean 33 million people tried to get a code for the Toronto shows!? And I was even lucky enough to get one... and I still didn't get tickets!💔 A few tears were shed that's for sure. But yes I do appreciate the movie coming out and it being a little bit of an event. She cut out the middle man which ensures she gets a larger cut of the profits but most importantly, sets another precedent for changing business models... this mastermind is coming for the movie business!

I have ALWAYS thought Cowboy Like Me was a gay love story!! I guess since she calls herself a "cowboy" I never considered that she could be singing from her own perspective or a female perspective. It was always a male in my eyes. The imagery I get is of the two men (both kinda tough guys) from The Last of Us who fall in love. I didn't know Ivy was thought to possibly be a gay love story as well... but then I listened to your breakdown and thought... what if these are 2 gay love stories back to back on the album? I could be totes wrong about Cowboy Like Me but I don't think she ever specifies the narrator's gender aside from saying "cowboy" so IDKKKK AHHH what do you all think?

Not only did he use clips that go with the relevant music video or performance, but moments like when a bunch of close ups of her face all fade into each other, or when he put a few lyrics that mention water and he used clips from music videos where water is shown. The thought put into it and the talent are really mind blowing.

I understand that some international fans are sad/mad and want to watch it as soon as it comes out but it makes so much more sense to only release it where she has already toured! I'm sure she'll do a theatre release in some other countries as well after she's done touring, then have in on streaming somewhere.

Most remixes only focus on mixing the sounds, but fathoming the lyrical parallels at the same time, and then the visuals, is insane. Wow. As for the Eras film, she's a genius but also a generous queen. She's making good on her promise to give us more opportunities to sing these songs together, since adding a year's worth of more shows just wasn't enough. I had expected her to release the film once all the tickets to all the shows had been sold, so those who couldn't get tickets wouldn't have to wait another year to see it, but doing a targeted release to theaters in the markets she's finished touring, and during the drought (tour break) is so ingenious. We've literally spent the last 4 days lamenting "Oh no, what will we do, how will we cope without tour for 2 months?" and the queen throws us, not a bone, but a feast. As a Canadian who never got tickets to tour, I am so excited that we were included in this release. So many Canadians already had to travel to the US for tour, not knowing if she would ever play here, and then 75% of us were ultimately waitlisted for the Canada dates. Not releasing the film in Canada would have had us flooding over the border to movie theaters, which is just silly. This, this is our condolence prize and I'm so happy to be able to be a part of tour without the travel and expense. I fully believe she will continue to release the film in the markets she has completed during each tour break, so yes, I think you ladies will get it in March/April. Hopefully she will include countries that didn't get tour dates at all, like the Philippines and India, and all of Africa. Obviously there might be distribution logistics that could be limiting, but I hope she releases it wherever feasible. It is truly Taylor Swift's world right now, and we are just living in it. We are so blessed.

And the visuals with it are stunning. That it's 13 minutes is ... chef's kiss! With the film, I keep hearing how every song on her regular setlist is on there, but it's not long enough for the whole set list, so I'm curious to see what she's going to do with it.
