Upcoming focus

Now that the sneak peek streak is over, let's look at what will be the focus in the coming weeks/months.

The overall main focus will be on getting the new dragons ready and fully playable, including customization, physics, animation, ground movement and flying. With the dragon creator foundation mostly done, I know the range of body types that will be possible and can start adapting the physics and animation to it. The ground movement should transfer pretty well since it's already generalized and not tied to a specific body, while flying is by far the thing that will take the most time, it can't really use the old flight system. Then there's also the UI for the dragon creator that needs to be done, plus whatever bonus things are included, like posing or photo mode. As discussed in the last post, one possibility is to focus on the dragon creator side of things first so it can be released as a standalone while the other things are worked on, with people both for and against. I'll decide on that once I got a better idea of how much additional time the movement and flying will take, it's possible it will go smoother than anticipated. The battle system is chugging along in parallel with this, while the terrain system and other things are on hold until the main focus above is dealt with.

A MacOS build would not be available until much closer to the full release, but even then a MacBook may not be able to run it well since it lacks a dedicated GPU

prob a long shot, but do you have any intention on making these games/demos available for MacBooks?

maaaaan im probs gonna spend 100+ hours just makin dragons once this comes out im sooooo hype. I've even gotten better at flying so im excited to see how the dragons feel depending on the body type they have
