In other photos from that night, the lighting makes it more obvious that it’s her real hair.

I did know Back To December, though, actually that song has always been one of my favorites, one that I could recognize instantly by the first chords hehe but yeah, interesting to fathom

2023-07-19 13:05:09 +0000 UTCi definitely think the music video tries to symbolise all the things you said about her going back to that moment in december, i also love that he keeps walking throughout the mv (moving on!) and she's basically not moving at all, just sitting there reminiscing and thinking back to that moment she lost him. and then he's sitting down at the end to read the letter, possibly thinking of giving her another chance? it's very clever, as always on a related note, the bridge in TGW always reminds me of this mv - "soldier down on that icy ground, looked up at me with honour and truth, broken and blue, so i called off the troops". it's kinda fucked up how the lines in TGW show that she learned from this exact experience back then because she realises just in time that she's about to lose him because of her fears

It's the one I was most familiar with when I was discovering everything a few years ago. Just checked the charts. Mine got to #3, Back To December #6 and the other singles didn't crack the Top 10 (imagine that world...no #1's from a Taylor Swift album?). Would we call Wildest Dreams a slow song? Kinda? It got to #5. I thought Lover might be it but it peaked at #10. Anyway, also enjoyed The Great Fringe Fathoming. That'll do for now. 😊
