As you must ALL know by now, we will be going to the eras tour in Santa Clara, and so a couple of days before the show we thought it would be an amazing opportunity to meet some of you guys 🥹
The date will be Thursday July 27 at 1pm
Currently we are unsure of the location - we were thinking West Bluff Picnic Area or Mission Dolores Park, but if you are a local or know the area, please let us know if you know the perfect spot!
This will be for you, our amazing Patreons only! We can’t wait to see some of you there 🫶🏻 xx

2023-07-15 17:04:20 +0000 UTCI’m not from SF, but I’ve been there a few times at my in-law’s… Baker Beach, Marshall’s Beach, or Presidio Battery West are good spot for views of the bridge. Alamo Square is great too and you get the view of The Painted Ladies. Dolores Park sits on a hill and you can watch the sunset over the skyline from there. On the other side of the bay, I recommend Muir Beach. It’s lovely there. Remember to bring sweater. It might be summer in SF, but their microclimate is bonkers and you’ll freeze!

The two objectively prettiest and probably cleanest areas in the city, with stunning views (if you don’t get a foggy day🙃 but at that point it’s still lovely and you’re getting a true summer in SF experience😅) I am missing being back in town for this by 2 days but excited for all who get to be involved!!

2023-07-14 16:08:50 +0000 UTCPresidio green (of I guess it’s called the Main Parade Lawn - near the Presidio Visitor center) is amazing and has a view of the Golden Gate Bridge and lots of Food Trucks, but Chrissy Field bluffs picnic area is also nice and right at the bottom of the GGB, just more windy than the Presidio green. They are very close to each other. I’m not sure if my daughters and I can make it, but it’s so nice of you to arrange it and we would definitely try.

Mission Dolores park would be amazing, and I agree with the above that Golden Gate Park is great, hope you all have fun! 💕 Edited to add I love fort Mason and there’s a great park over there and it’s right by the water! And the presidio/palace of fine arts is also beautiful!

He suggested Presidio Tunnel Top Park. “It is beautiful and lots of room to spread out. At any rate, weather in SF is sooo unpredictable. Wind is a factor every day and summer tends to be the foggiest time of year.

2023-07-14 13:56:45 +0000 UTCI love Dolores Park and is usually sunnier, but there is a beautiful view at Chrissy Field, plus bathrooms and ample parking, which make it a great spot to meet up. And there are some great restaurants and coffee places a few blocks up on Chestnut Street!

West Bluff is great but very weather dependent, haha...can be super foggy and windy. Mission Dolores is great but can get v crowded, but perhaps at 1pm on a Thursday you'd be fine :) also may be a tad warmer there! Another spot if you want lots of space would be Main Parade Lawn. Exciting!!

2023-07-14 13:02:03 +0000 UTCHi! Both places are awesome! July in San Francisco is usually cold and foggy so dress in layers! Our summer here usually does not start until mid August-September. It may be sunny, but you just never know! Also PLEASEEEEE do not leave ANYTHING in cars! There have been an insane amount of car break ins because people leave things in cars. Tourists are especially targeted.

2023-07-14 13:00:48 +0000 UTCFrom a former SF resident - Dolores Park is central and typically has better weather than the rest of San Francisco, which can be cold and foggy in the summer! Would recommend grabbing picnic blankets and some food from dolores park cafe or the outpost - it's a lovely spot to hang out and people watch :)

It's the one that would make for best pictures with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background like the Eiffel Tower ones in Paris. There's really a lot of great options. Like Mieke said above Alamo Square (it's next to the Painted Ladies from Full House fame) and Golden Gate Park (it's massive and lots of things to do there).
