She’s also met a boy with eyes like a man so we could maybe play this at her wedding and I can’t even tell you how much crying will be happening. Also, Never Grow Up hits me hard from all points of view. Myself growing up, my 4 kids growing up, my little brother growing up, my Dad has passed away and my Mom has just moved into a care facility and her memory is going. Plus I now have a 3 year old grandson who has my whole heart. I’m grieving all of this while listening to both of these superior songs. Wow. It’s a lot.

2023-07-23 05:09:50 +0000 UTCyes, level three is speak now and 5 is 1989 but level 13 is speak now tv, not midnights. meaning that 1989 tv would have to at least be referred to as level 14 or higher, so she really didn’t mention anything concrete about 1989 tv in the bejeweled mv if we’re honest. she’s been dropping 1989 hints HARD for years now. and then she focused on speak now instead. there’s no reason to believe she wouldn’t keep putting off 1989 tv to just promote it more. also, i completely get all of the other references, that wasn’t the point i was making at all. did you not see the fingernails on the coffee cup with the clock? black first (aka rep tv) next to the 2 which could be a feb release. blue SECOND next the 8 meaning 1989 tv in august, which makes way more sense then dropping it in fall or winter. just saying, don’t discredit it. we never know what she’s really gonna do.

She's in the studio on weekdays, but whether that is Reputation. debut, or vault tracks is just guessing. video is a mix of Speak Now era stuff and 1989 stuff. Speak Now includes the actors, costumes, staff routine (link below) etc. 1989 includes a James Bond /spy spoof including the laser light corridor(link below) , the red lips on glass (Style), fighting the bad guys with a briefcase, explosions (Bad Blood) --- and the whole production/sound of the song. The lyrics sound like Speak Now, but the SOUND is like 1989. It could be that 1:38 was just a mistake or, as some are speculating, she made the change on the 9th of July to suggest the transition from Speak Now (her 3rd album - 1:38) to 1989 (her 5th album - 1:58). It's an interesting interpretation :))

The core of her band is Paul Sidoti on guitar, Amos Heller on bass, and Mike Meadows as keyboards, guitars, and band leader. They have been there since Fearless or before. She also has Matt Billingslea on drums, and he joined in Red tour. Caitlin Evanston and Emily Poe both used to play violin for her, but I am not sure she is touring with a violinist now; Caitlyn has been involved with the rerecordings though. She is the one Emily calls 'Tree". Grant Mickelson (guitar) left the band some time ago, but was there in Fearless. David Cook (keyboards) may or may not still be involved; he has been part of the rerecordings, but I think he is not on the tour. Karina DiPiano is obviously new. If you look up the credits for songs on Genius, it can tell you something--obviously the people involved in the recordings are not always the same as the people on the tour, but sometimes they are.

When Emma falls in love deff gave me drops of Jupiter vibes on first listen especially with the “gets stuck in your hair like stars from outer space” lyric mirroring Train’s “drops of Jupiter in her hair” lyric. I feel like she was definitely inspired by the song back then when she wrote when Emma falls in love but maybe felt afraid to put it out because people would think she’s copying (drops of jup was really popular back then). But I’m glad she felt comfortable putting it out now, after all those years. Great videos guys keep it up but of course also enjoy your vacation!! Love from New York City ♥️

2023-07-10 04:29:22 +0000 UTCI WAS THERE!!!!! i drove 11 hours straight all by myself from austin, texas to KC just to be there for the speak now tv release day because i just KNEW this is how it would go down and i knew i could never live with myself if i missed it. speak now is and always has been my number one album ever, it was my first cd i bought with my own money and the first concert i ever went to so getting to be there on this day was the most magical experience of my life 💜💜💜 and it was completely worth the thousands of dollars and lack of sleep the trip required 😅

When he listened "Emma Falls In Love" he compared it with "Dear John" because both songs show opposite sceneries about falling in love through some common themes like, for example, the relationship they have with their moms. "And my mother accused me of losin' my mind, but I swore I was fine" vs "When Emma falls in love, she calls up her mom, jokes about the ways that this one could go wrong".

So I was basically emotionally destroyed, I cried SO hard. I haven't cried about my mom in a while so it was a moment I really needed, and it definitely didn't feel like just a coincidence. My sis is 10 years younger than me, the 3 of us singing along with Taylor to Long Live and Never Grow Up it was truly the best day of my life. On a complete side note for Emily, I've been sick in Italy with a horrible cough/cold. They sell a great over the counter cough syrup there. Just ask the pharmacist. It will taste like licorice which I found disgusting, however it worked as good as the prescription stuff we get in the US.
