There weren't many places to go for coverage so people were packed in really tightly or just out completely exposed, morale was low and a lot of people left. I am SO glad my friends and I stuck it out, I balled my eyes out when Aaron came out and I realized she was gonna do WCS. 2023-05-08 14:16:32 +0000 UTCBonnie! 🎸 I’ve written before about how I learned to play guitar totally bc of Taylor, and I’m self-taught pretty much exclusively on Taylor’s songs, lol… well anyway, I decided to finally change the strings on my beloved Baby Taylor guitar during the show tonight (and I usually play along with the show from my couch, lol)… and tonight I finally finished and got to test drive these fresh strings to WCS!! Was sooo fun. 🎸 And regarding your comment about it possibly thinking that playing WCS might have been too painful, I definitely thought that too! BUT, it seems like making songs with another person (especially a friend) really turns it in to something new for her… truly art they are “proud” of together, instead of it being a major emotionally moment. Also at that younger age, she was probably really focused on the “communicating” of it all, but now it seems like she doesn’t think about that part much in her 33’s… is just making these songs for her own damn self alone, lol, which is so incredibly healthy! Super interesting… i love it. 💕👏👏👏 But overall she gave that wet, soggy crowd every second she would have normally, with guests and all… and I teared up when she screamed about this being the time of her life! Just love that girl, so much! AND I love you girls too… THANK YOU for these reactions… I feel like I’m not alone, but instead part of something super fun! 🙌😻🫶😘✨💎💜💜💜🥰

I’ll be there Friday (as will be Maya Thompson), Sunday is US Mother’s Day (Best Day), we’ve got potential “seven” or (it’s a reach bc she’s prob referencing the band and not the football team “Eagles” who play at the stadium she’ll be at but still shirt) “gold rush,” it’s going to be a weekend for sure
