2023-05-08 11:38:37 +0000 UTCY’all I was at Nashville night three. WHEN I TELL YOU WE WERE ATTACKED BY WIND AND RAIN FOR 2 HOURS IM NOT KIDDING. She didn’t come on until 10, show ended at almost 2am. The first time, she said meet me at midnight and it was LITERALLY AN HOUR PAST IT. It was insane. But she called us her river otters and my heart melted. She played WCS and the crowd was insane. Phoebe played Nothing new with Taylor, Aaron played WCS. And then Mine was played on the piano. She talked to us a lot and it made me feel really special that she kept acknowledging that EVERYONE waited 3+ hours later than we should’ve. And I mean of course we would wait for her, but to see her know we would wait. Absolutely illegal or her to start tearing up when we were yelling for her after Champagne Problems. Just standing there all wholesome smiling looking at the ground. NOT TO MENTION IT WAS RAINING DURING MIDNIGHT RAIN. iconic. ILLICIT AFFAIRS WITH HER IN THE RAIN!?!?? dead.

2023-05-08 04:05:40 +0000 UTCI gotta say, I agree that she seems happier in more recent shows. I was at the first night in Tampa—the first performance after the rumored breakup. It’s hard to say this because Tay is awesome and it was still a good show that I was so fortunate to go to, but from what I’ve seen of other concert clips, the 4/13 show was not as good as them. The energy was off and it felt like Taylor was just getting through it. Still an unbelievable experience and she sounded phenomenal; just something about it that didn’t feel like the full awesomeness of her was there.

I do not think she would want to re-release a song about forgiving Kanye (tbh I do not care about this song) and with Better than revenge - we are all wondering what has she decided to do about it. ALSO def seems like Fearless TV’s launch was to test the waters but also how soon it arrived in comparison to how Red TV was announced soooo far ahead, it does seem like each re-release is garnering a higher budget for its release too. What if the acoustic versions are there but not Better Than Revenge???

But I was a tween growing up in the American South, so I got very self-conscious and stepped back after my family and friends said it was weird for me to like Taylor’s music. I finally got back to openly listening to her again after folklore, and I’ve unapologetically liked her ever since. Your guys’ excitement is palpable and contagious, and you just make me so happy to be in this community :)

2023-05-07 12:28:40 +0000 UTCalso completely random but I had a moment with sweet nothing and hoax yesterday that I must share somewhere — sweet nothing tells the story of how their relationship would have worked if she was not the taylor swift who was born to be a star. their love was special because he loved her in secret, but "she left a part of herself back in new york" (hoax is so offensive) and yearned to get that part of herself back. still one of the most beautiful love songs she's ever written, but he loved her at her isolated worst but couldn't be there at her thriving best. it’s like “what you did was just as dark” because although they made her leave that part of herself in New York, maybe he wanted her to give it up! I know hoax isn’t about joe, but the interpretations now are soooo illegal and whoever gets it as a secret song 🫠

I also find it interesting that Ringo Starr's birthday is July 7th and she sports John Lennon and Ringo Starr hairdos in I Bet You Think About Me video. She also pretends to the Walrus while the kids drink Apple Juice. Apple was the Beatles record label. Even the suit she is wearing in the best man scene looks a lot like John Lennon's white suit dyed red. She spent a little time with Paul McCartney when doing a Rolling Stones article a few years back. Just saying could you imagine a Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr collaboration.

The visuals were incredible and looked as if she was dancing through a Van Gogh painting. So many of the videos posted are zoomed in on her or shot from an area where you can't see what's on the main screen. I'm hoping when the tour video finally hits we will be able to see more of those visuals.

2023-05-07 06:45:21 +0000 UTCi think haunted and back to december acoustics are being left off because they aren't full blown remasters like forever and always and state of grace, they're simply different instrumentals with the same vocals as the originals on top. which tbh now that i think about it, since a lot of her acoustics are like that, she could pull an anti hero/lavender haze and release those btd + haunted acoustics as digital download singles a few weeks in to sntv's release for some char boost or wtv sdfdfsd

Out of The Woods means so so much to me for so many reasons so getting it, and being front row in the section right at the end of the catwalk, pretty much ended my life. What a NIGHT.
