I find it to be more personal than Lover. It may be too tough for her to sing those songs about falling in love with him, at least right now. Can you imagine CIWYW or NYDay? I can’t. It’s so personal, like Cornelia St. I imagine there are just some songs she can’t play right now & Rep songs are those songs. I want to know what happened, it’s not our business, but it’s saying he did something very hurtful and unforgivable to her. I think she is fine but 7 yrs, merging their families, buying a house, she tried so hard to fit into his little world. Rep songs might just be too painful now. She needs some Taylor Swift songs right now, just like we all have needed in our lives.

And this happens all the time with 1989, it's almost a victim of its own success but I really do not understand why we need Bad Blood. Shake It Off & Blank Space kinda have to be there. Style is iconic. Wildest Dreams we'd never gotten like this before. Bad Blood, no. That's the spot for something different.

If the 1989 set was the most iconic thing on tour now and got like all the attention then it would be more difficult to build even more excitement for this album once she comes out with the TV. It’s still iconic but I feel the same as you that for us fans, something special is slightly missing in the 1989 set and that could be it. She has to manage the excitement and attention for all of her albums and eras and it cannot always be on an all time high & 1989 will have it’s bigger moments soon because of TV-which I cannot wait for btw!!!

It was that the eras tour is very much a celebration of her work over the past 16 yrs & 10 albums. The closing of a chapter. So she's feeling like once this tour is over, what's her next step? what kind of music will she be making going forward? When she was 13 she didn't know her purpose, but then when was 16 making debut, she "found it" (secret message). Her purpose was to be a singer/songwriter. Now she's 33 and is the most famous/successful she's ever been. So now she's thinking, "what's next?" Taylor also just proved that her songs don't age

I just never loved the singles. They were played to death on radio. New Romantics, how u get the girl (I died when she played Wonderland, it’s in my top 20). So many other choices. But we are so spoiled with all these songs I need to be quiet 🤣🤣🤣🤣
