With all the brilliance, the spectacles, the mistakes of that night that became wonderful memories, the only disappointment I had was that she didn’t release or announce SNTV. Your reactions were exactly mine. I held my breath in anticipation so many times for the announcement and then had to give space for not getting it instead of fully enjoying Treacherous. I keep swearing I have it figured out, then I get proven wrong each time. No matter. Brilliant concert and Taylor was outstanding. And yeah, that hair started straight but got curlier and curlier through the night. 😄

But in the whole context of the song she's saying that it wasn't true: "Maybe it's the past that's talking... telling me to punish you for things you never did." I understand the song as 'The great war' / conflict being Taylor suspecting infidelity without any real evidence "So I justified it.", because of her bad experiences in the past. "Your finger on my hairpin trigger.": It took very little to set her off.

She lives in Tampa and I live in DC. So we tried for both and both got nothing. And we both agreed we wouldn't pay 3rd party seller prices/ticks. I mean Taylor wouldn't be getting that money!! Anyway fast forward to February 17th (less the a month to Tampa2). I get an email from Ticketmaster/TS Verified Fan stating I had an opportunity to put a request in to buy 2 ticks to the April 14 show (only)! You basically filled out a form and you put what u were willing to pay which ranges from $79-$479 and if you were chosen your card would be charged and no matter what you would be emailed a yes or no. Kinda lottery style. Of course by this time our FOMO was raging so we chose the highest ticks at $479!! Not like we could afford it but as they say make memories not money!!!LOL Truly we expected nothing. After my BF asked about the airfare I told him don't worry there is no way I was going! A miracle would need to occur!!! Well on the morning of 2/22 (only 20 days before the show!!!) my sister text me and said did u get an email which I said no. And she said I just got a text that X amount was charged to my card from Ticketmaster and I nearly almost puked. And then within the hour the email came and confirmed the tix. So to finish a long winded answer as to what section I was in.....I was in Section A Row 7 seat 8. So if you're looking toward to the catwalk they were row 7 and if you turned and were looking toward the main stage they were front row (cuz my tick was the last in the row) so It was crazy but because the way and where she performs they are only front row for 2 songs. The real ticket winners were whoever bought tix seats around the stage triangle! Truth is I would have been happy anywhere! You could see things from above that people on the floor couldn't! The energy and the sheer excitement and joy was everywhere and in every section!! Another girl in my section got hers the same way I did so I really hope it happens at other shows so another brokenhearted Swiftie can have the chance too!!! Holy shit that was long but I really wanted u to know!

First night watching the Eras tour (videos, alas, live on 7/28!), I could not understand why the Lover house burned down, and now I'm sitting here DUH, the house is her time with Joe, her time of refuge. (And playing house.) What a great metaphor. In fact huge chunks of Midnights could allude to Joe. The more I think about it the more I am convinced she tried on the quiet, drink out of a plastic cup life and it didn't suit. I'm guessing it started to feel confining and she got restless (I think Bejeweled captures that perfectly!). And her fame and drive to be in the spotlight didn't suit Joe. I hope their split was truly amicable. I love your videos, thank you!!

I was in 333, My seats were terrible but I fought for them in the Great War that was ticket master presale so I was grateful to be there at all. In all honesty I wanted the 2 be YoYok and Coulda Woulda Shoulda but I knew there was no way in hell she'd play CSW....so I didn't hope for that. So my next choice was Great War! My realization came at the end...and I'd seen it online but live was so different. When the Lover House burns down to nothing I knew it symbolized the end of an Era and that part of her would be in the past and nothing but embers. And to me Lover is the "Joe" album. Full of love, desire, faith, hope and all the good stuff. Ugh! Seeing her live was cathartic!!!

I love watching your reactions so much, but I feel like so often you are missing reacting to parts of the speeches or other fun stuff (for example Aaron hug N3 in Tampa) because you don’t know which video is the best to watch. Just a thought. Thank you for all that you do!!! P.S. 2 cents about SNTV — I’m pretty sure she’ll ever announce SNTV at her shows cause it’s just not a global enough platform. She will always reach significantly more people with a social media post/press release. Even with livestreams the shows are pretty insular.

I believe she actually got quite a bit of backlash in Florida for being there especially for the YNTCD part of her set, so this was probably her way of being like, “I really don’t care what you think about me. These things are important and you need to stop with the stupid legislation that prevents people from their basic rights.

I think it was the Mtv awards. She said that shes happier when shes creating and preforming. She would just be doing more of that. I always thought that was a really strong word choice in general and confirmed all her hints at being married that were in Lover. And now paired with all of the Deuxmoi information about them being married, just not on paper….It’s definitely a very telling choice to remove that word. Ugh.

That is such a vulnerable song, that reflects on the feeling of treacherous uncertainty, but is ultimately so hopeful. That must be a close approximation of how she was feeling - that maybe this path was treacherous, reckless and uncertain, but she’s choosing her artistry, her true love, and that’s something to be hopeful about. Even if the breakup was her decision, it is a major lifestyle change and change is scary. I don’t think it was an accident she played this song. This slope is treacherous This path is reckless This slope is treacherous I, I, I like it And the repeated “I’ll follow you, follow you home” in conjunction with all her comments this weekend about needing us for her well-being, and how this community can be a balm to the heartbreak of performing some of these songs - it felt like she was coming home to her music and to the tour.

I was convinced they’d be on the set list since she hasn’t performed them live !! I would die to hear “You All Over Me”, “That’s When”, “Nothing New” or “I Bet you think about me” - I would die the vault tracks are special gems

2023-04-16 23:02:17 +0000 UTCWas sort of hoping you’d talk more about the speech she gave before ATW10 this weekend where she said that the fans changed that song so it didn’t hurt her to play it anymore and have done that for all her other songs, too. To me it felt almost like she was giving permission for the fans to continue to listen to and love and enjoy and sing along with all the songs she has written about this last relationship, even if it is over now, because we will do the same thing - make her able to sing them without it hurting because they belong to her and the fans now. Loved that thought, and maybe it makes it easier hearing songs she wrote about him or the songs they wrote together, to be able to just enjoy them without just being sad for her.
