We wanted to come to you guys to ask what kind of content you would like on the podcast? ALSO what should we call it??? We have a few ideas swirling around in our heads (such as “Have You Fathomed?”) but you guys always have the most ICONIC suggestions so we would love for you all to be apart if it and see what you guys think!

2022-11-22 08:39:00 +0000 UTCWhat about just “Chats” hehe (the first half of Chats and Reacts, obv) or “Chats with Bonny & Emily” I also love “Chats and Reacts”. While I like “Have You Fathomed” a lot, I agree with what someone else said that it may not stand the test of time, and Chats & Reacts is so timeless and perfect (and on-brand). Also I think it’s a bit risky to use something you say organically as such a cornerstone of your business/brand because you want fun sayings to come and go naturally in your vocabulary, you don’t want to have to keep saying stuff if it doesn’t feel right to you. Just thinking of all the fun phrases you’ve come up with, some it seems like on camera, it’s so fun and natural, and not all of them you said at the beginning of your channel you still use. And some of your sayings evolve to mean slightly different things as well. At some point you might come up with a different way to express understanding/comprehending/processing and having “have you fathomed” as your permanent podcast name might feel dated. Having said that, I think these little sayings would still be great on MERCH! That really can be current, fleeting fun moments and sayings because of the nature of merch and how it’s kind of… seasonal. Just my thoughts, love you guys :) <3

But also topics that pop up that might not have a lot of video content, like all things tour related (aside from the tour video reactions), personal tour stories or best practices for those of us that have never been. Last week was such a nightmare for so many fans and I would love your take on it all. Especially in context of previous tours. Also I think having guests on the podcast would be really great, to speak on TSCU or life events that are relevant. We do weekly podcasts with the company I work for and sometimes the most random topics have the BEST content!!! I would listen to you guys ramble on a stream of consciousness for hours ahahah :) Love you!!

Could do a “lyric of the week” segment about the song thats had the biggest impact on you with a mini analysis (can be taylor song but also anything). Could also do a “music news” segment when it’s relevant—whether it’s just updates on industry tea, grammy discussions, or anything trending topic that actually interests you guys. Can also just do whatever you want! Good luck! Excited to see what you come up with

I'm so sorry i really cannot come up with a name for the podcast at the moment but as for the content, I would just say to keep it natural and just let the conversation flow, it's my favourite thing about kara & ducky's podcast 'TBH'❤️ you could talk about things you've learnt, any advice you may have about whatever topic you choose and maybe as young women who. just turned 30, how you feel things have changed for women since you were teens? Like in terms of equality, and the media and all that. At the end of the day, really don't put too much pressure on yourselves because a natural conversation between the two of you (or even a breakdown of a song) always leads to something SO insightful and wonderful... love you both, SO proud of you !❤️

Each week you could start off the episode by each saying what you’re fathoming that week (a song, an idea, a recipe etc). Topics I’d love to hear about are: from Bonny - how she has dealt with hate and grown from her experiences on YouTube, from Emily what it’s been like transitioning from a corporate job to working for herself, and from both of you a more in depth story time about your friendship how it started and how it’s grown. Oh and how dating is different in your late twenties early thirties from when you were younger. ❤️

That being said, having a niche is helpful. I'm thinking the main theme could be music, first listens, impressions, and lasting feelings about music from the past because I feel like we forget about older music easily. But you could also do segments where the topics are whatever you like. They could be done the same way eras have different themes and colors. So some could be like reflecting on youth (fearless), grown thoughts (midnights), and everything in between. Totally just spitballing, but you guys have a lot of options. OH! And I just thought of another thing. If you named it "friends who fathom" (credit to Nick above because that sticks "this week with friends who fathom, we are exploring.... AHHH), you could have guests (if you wanted) that were pros in other artists' music, and they guide you to fathom their artist's journey, music, etc. WHATEVER you do, I can't wait!!!!!!❤️
