They are just always themselves, and it is so great. There is a quick red carpet interview with them at the Oscars on Youtube, and they are just so authentic, like always. I'm also really happy to see Taylor getting true respect these days. It seems like every time I turn around someone is talking about how influential she has been to them. It seems real this time, so I think it may last. A few people are still trying to come at her again (there were some complaints about her being involved with Where the Crawdads Sing because of accusations against the authors), but I think we might be entering a time where she starts to become like Joni Mitchell or Dolly Parton, recognized as a cultural treasure.

She can’t release Speak Now until the trademark is settled and she can’t release 1989 until the lawsuit is settled. Maybe she is working to get Debut ready for an early to mid summer release and then Speak Now for fall/winter if things go well?

Which is kind of an insane synchronicity bc I’m 27 and have been in and out of school for years due to health stuff. There have been so many years it was supposed to happen and life got in the way. And the year I’m finally graduating the one person whose gotten me through it all is giving the graduation speech. Insane! Still pinching myself! I will of course report back about everything!

So about a year ago is when I started to dive into this Taylor world. I found a message I sent to a friend of mine on March 27, 2021 and I was like, "sooooo what do you think of Taylor Swift?" and I scrolled through and in May I wrote, "I wouldn't say I'm obsessed with her..." Then in June I started sending my friend random Taylor lyrics. Obsession confirmed! Anyway, looking forward to the next video! No rush, i actually watched one of Lorde ones the other day. 🙂
