Wolf

Hmm. It’s starting to become clearer to me just what Progenitor is in charge of this Centurion.

Especially when I enter the third floor theme of the Centurion and find it to be a large labyrinth made out of rocks, chocolate, and bones. Which is a rather odd combination.

It also gives a large hint to what the Progenitor is for this Centurion. Specifically when combined with what the previous two floor themes were.

What with the forest made of candy and the metal island surrounded by liquid silver having absolutely nothing in common with this rock, chocolate, and bone labyrinth.

That alone is answer enough.

The next Progenitor is most likely Eris.

The Progenitor of Chaos.

And, conveniently enough, another ally. Which should make this next Centurion Boss easier for me to handle.

Since they’re not a Progenitor that’s genuinely trying hard to kill me.

That said, this labyrinth is absolutely disgusting. And it’s killer on my nose.

So I rush straight through the labyrinth floors as quickly as I can. Clearing them all in just a few weeks.

Only to find myself entering the next floor theme. Which is a bunch of towers just floating in a creepy red light. With each tower seemingly being made out of dozens of different materials.

I frown at the towers while looking at the materials.

It looks like it ranges all the way from stone, marble, and concrete to obsidian, gold, and what looks like magma.

An incredibly varied range of materials to say the least.

Yep. This pretty much confirms it.

Eris is the Progenitor clone I’ll be facing for this Centurion.

From what I understand about her, she really is chaos incarnate in terms of her fighting style. Even if her personality is actually kind of straightforward.

She likes whatever she likes.

She apparently has no similarities between any of her personal tastes. If she likes something, she likes it. If she doesn’t, she turns it into something she likes.

But that generally only applies to things she is directly interacting with. And only if she likes or dislikes something enough to bother.

Because she also dislikes wasting her time on things she doesn’t believe are important enough for her time.

Unless she’s just in the mood.

And apparently she took a strong liking to me for some reason. Probably because of how chaotic I tend to be.

She does love chaotic people after all.

In fact, my very existence is chaotic in her eyes. Since I’m changing the balance of everything by becoming a Progenitor despite not being born one.

Not to mention how I made my own element through my different bloodlines and blessings.

I’ve changed the very universe with my element. Not to mention the new species my venom is making.

And that new religion.

So it makes some sense that she’d like me.

Still. I’ll have to fight her clone even if we are allies.

And while I’m sure she’ll hold back a lot and help me along the way, she’s still going to be fighting me.

From what Fenrir said, Eris’ fighting style is very chaotic. Which fits her well.

She creates monsters, attacks of all kinds and all elements, illusions to distract her foe, and even tries to mutate her opponent with her variant that changes whatever it comes into contact with to something completely random.

Even her defensive barriers completely change attacks that she blocks into something completely random.

Although her variant doesn’t affect certain elements anywhere near as much.

Like the void element for example.

Something tells me that I’ll probably have some resistance to it thanks to the void element having been part of what made my lunar ice element.

That and the fact that other elements that absorb elemental energy in some way also have resistance. And mine devours it.

So I at least shouldn’t be affected as much by that variant. Both my body and my energy.

She is still going to be a pain in the ass to defeat, though. Even if she should be far easier than Phoenix was.

Probably easier than Fortuna was as well.

And speaking of Fortuna, apparently she’s still messing around in Mikaela’s viewing room. Acting like a commentator herself for amusement.

Not just for my livestream either, but for all of the remaining livestreams.

Which isn’t really saying much considering that there are only about a dozen other competitors still alive in the Administrator Dungeon.

A depressingly low number considering that it started out at a thousand Administrator Dungeon Competitors total.

I let out a sigh at that thought.

What’s even worse is that this is actually a high survival rate for this late into the Administrator Dungeon. Since normally there are even fewer left.

The Administrator Dungeon Competitors are currently around the six hundred and fiftieth floor or so. And normally there would be just four or five left alive by now.

But instead of that, there are about a dozen left.

As for how they got ahead of me in their dungeon?

I keep closing the gap rather quickly when I’m on regular floor themes, but whenever I am on Centurion Floor Themes, it drastically slows down my progress. Which gives the Competitors plenty of time to rebuild the gap.

So a pattern has pretty much built where I get ahead of them by the time I start the Centurion Floor Theme, only for them to get ahead of me when I finish the Centurion Floor Theme.

Not that it matters in the end since we’re in different dungeons.

Anyway, I frown at the sight of the bizarre monsters around the towers. Some of which really look like random household appliances.

With random body parts sticking out of them.

Creepy body parts at that.

And there’s just a single body part each time.

I look around for a bit before eventually just shrugging and freezing everything.

Whatever. It’s just more weird monsters.

Time to continue my march through the floors.

Eris seems like she's just chill.
