Within a Large Manor on the Planet of Atlantis
Not long ago

Everyone in the enormous manor feels a mixture of tension and excitement as they go about their work. With each and every servant working for the owners of the house throwing repeated glances at one particular room. Where the owners of the house are unconscious on the master bed.

Because the owners of the manor – Seravina Orcayne Azuranth and Orvyn Azuranth – are both loved deeply by everyone working in the manor. And they’ve been missing for years. Worrying everyone in the manor ever since.

And to make matters worse, they knew about their employers’ child but couldn’t find her no matter how hard they searched.

They’re not members of the Bloodline families, after all. And they were incredibly busy managing the properties in their employers’ absence.

Properties consisting of over a dozen planets.

But now their employers have returned, and their employers’ daughter is thriving as a Pioneer.

And they couldn’t be more excited. Even if they’re also worried about when their employers will wake up.

Entire days have passed since they were returned to the manor by the rest of the Abyssal Orca and Kraken Bloodliners, and they still haven’t regained consciousness.

Now, though, after five days, something changes.

A wave of mana floods outwards from the employers’ room suppressing everyone in and around the manor. But none of the staff feel any fear from it.

No. Instead they rush towards the master bedroom as quickly as possible to see both of their employers sitting up on their beds.

Fully conscious.

Seravina Orcayne Azuranth is sitting up in the bed while staring at her hands with her eyes slightly narrowed, and Orvyn Azuranth is sitting on the edge of the bed on the other side of it from his wife with his hands holding his forehead and a frown on his face.

Both of them are wearing robes for comfort, and have a confused and slightly spaced out expression.

But that expression doesn’t last long before they grow more and more serious. As they remember things one after another.

And finally, after several seconds of this with the staff crowding around the entrance to the room, not daring to enter thanks to the mana they’re emitting, both of their employers retract their auras. Leaving the room safe for the staff to enter. Meanwhile their eyes widen in horror.

Seravina and Orvyn both feel shock, terror, and pain as they remember their daughter. And how they’ve been sealed away for over two decades.

Leaving her behind all on her own.

Nothing else enters their mind after waking up. Not worries about the rest of their family, or what happened to them.

The only thing they think about is Aqua.

So the moment they see the staff, they rush to their feet and ask the same question at the same time.

“Where is she?!” “Where’s our daughter?!”

The staff try to push them back to lie on their bed again and rest some more, but the two parents ignore them and continue asking about her. So the staff answer them by pulling up Aqua’s livestream.

Seravina feels horror flooding her as she sees the livestream showing the woman who is her fully grown daughter fighting against monsters underwater with ease. But despite her power, all Seravina feels upon seeing her is horror at the pain she must’ve faced to reach that power.

Because there aren’t any Pioneers who become great without any sacrifice and struggle.

And the thought of her precious daughter suffering through that alone…

How did this happen? Did something go wrong?

She doesn’t waste time in beginning to do research on her daughter, and she sees her husband doing the same. But he’s even more furious than she is.

And it doesn’t take her long to find out why when she learns about her daughter having been an orphan.

The more she reads, the angrier she gets, and the more her mana begins to leak out again. Pushing the house’s servants away once more.

“Orvyn,” Seravina says, her voice as cold as ice. “I’m going to fully disown my father.”

Orvyn doesn’t say anything. He just nods his head in agreement while glaring at the screen in front of him.

Seravina goes silent as well, just focusing on doing research. But after several minutes pass, she hears Orvyn ask, “Do you still have it?”

Her mind instantly goes to the Special Core she found in their last trip to the Abyss.

“What should we put in the sponsorship message?” Seravina asks while already opening the System to send a sponsorship.
