The eye surgery...all's well that ends well!

The procedure went smoothly and only took 30 minutes under local anesthetic. My vision was pretty good even the day after but it takes a few days to sort itself out and a month to fully heal. Then I have to have the other one done and only then can I get prescription glasses to compensate for the lack of variable focus of the new lenses. Right now, I'm trying not to sit in front of the computer all the time to avoid eye strain but I have a large screen which makes life easier.
