Aqua
I yawn as I lie down on a bed taking a nap, wearing shorts and a t-shirt for the current photoshoot. Which is an ad for the very bed I’m lying on.
Overall, it’s a rather nice and relaxing photoshoot. Considering all I have to do is lie down and pretend I’m asleep.
Although I do actually fall asleep for a very short time during the photoshoot, but no one notices, and I wake up rather quickly because of a loud noise on the set. So it’s fine.
Plus they told me to just relax because it’ll come off as natural.
Or rather, will be natural. Since it, well, is me relaxing.
Time passes as I occasionally roll on the bed, taking a break from thinking about anything. All the way until the photoshoot ends. At which point I sit up straight and stretch with a yawn.
Only for them to take a picture of that as well.
I blink in the direction of the camera that took the picture before eventually just shrugging it off and getting off the bed. Then I walk over to find my manager talking with someone.
When I reach them, they both turn towards me as the man who my manager is talking to turns toward me while holding out a card. Which I sluggishly take, still feeling sleepy from my nap.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Miss Azuranth,” the man says as I read his card. “My name is Relan Vistre, the PD known best for Dark Night.”
Hmm…
His card pretty much just says the same thing. It also mentions Night Productions that he is a part of. Which is one of the biggest production companies in the entire Alliance.
And Dark Night is one of the most successful films as well.
Although I’ve never watched it since I don’t tend to watch films. I’m more of a TV show kind of person than a movie one.
I just don’t like that I don’t feel immersed into the story fast enough for movies to matter to me. By the time I feel fully immersed in them, the story’s already half over.
And I don’t exactly have much time to watch TV nowadays anyways.
Or any real way to watch them.
Technically I can do it if I try, but it’s annoying to deal with.
“Hello,” I state with a professional smile. Albeit a drowsy one.
“Mister Vistre and I have been discussing the possibility of you being the star in his next film,” Rhett says, not really surprising me. Since that’s really the only reason an Alliance-famous PD would be at my photoshoot. “What do you think?”
“Sounds good,” I state with a nod, instantly making the PD smile.
Then we get into discussions about when the filming will be for the film, followed by more discussions on the contract and how much I’m being paid. But I leave most of that to the Hydra since I don’t really care about money.
Most of the money I earn is being dumped on the cranky grandmother back on Equeter and that massive mall anyway. Which is ending up earning me even more money in the process.
At the rate I’m going, money won’t really matter to me anymore. I just have too much of it.
And to make money even more unnecessary, I don’t eat food or drink water thanks to my mana constitution. So I don’t exactly have many expenses either.
Nor do I really spend money much.
Anyway, after all the discussions are finished, I return to my body on Oceana, where I find myself in an inn. But after I finish getting ready to leave, I find the chat talking about something that actually interests me.
Which isn’t common.
[AQUA! AQUA! AQUA! WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE A HOME?!]
[She really should get a home for herself instead of always staying outside or at inns.]
[For real. She’s just a homeless wanderer at this point.]
[She really is.]
[She’s probably the wealthiest person on Oceana, yet she doesn’t have a home.]
[There should be portable homes available in the Sponsorships after level three hundred. You should accept one! I would be shocked if someone hasn’t sponsored you one yet!]
[#GETAHOME #GETAHOME #GETAHOME!!!]
[I can just imagine her digging out a home in a cave.]
[#mineraqua!]
[That would be funny. Can’t see it happening tho]
[It’s hilarious thinking about how the richest person on the planet is homeless.]
[The inns probably like her.]
I probably should get a home.
That thought has crossed my mind a couple times over the past months, but it’s never really felt like a priority. But now that I don’t really have any real goal other than leveling up to become the leader of the planet, maybe it would be a good time to make a home.
Hmm…
I purse my lips as I think about the issue before coming to a decision.
Right. So first I’ll get a portable home from the sponsorship menu, then I’ll hire some people from Oceana to build a home for me.
Then I’ll try to figure out how to update the house they make to use Alliance technology.
It shouldn’t be that difficult.
Probably.
I tap my chin in thought before eventually coming to a decision. At which point I go ahead and head to the Cryaxis Guild, where I find the Guildmaster right outside of her office.
She looks at me in surprise when I ask about where I should go to get a house made for me. Then she answers, “It depends on what type of house you’d like. And where it’ll be built.”
There’s not much to consider there.
“I want a nice house underground,” I answer without any hesitation. Because it’s just safer that way.
My ideal home right now is an underground house with a secret entrance that the monsters won’t recognize.
She frowns at my answer before saying, “That would be difficult. The well-known construction companies don’t like to work near the ocean’s surface due to the danger and the possibility of digging into caves.”
“Then I’ll act as their bodyguard,” I state without batting an eye.
The Guildmaster stares at me for several seconds. I stare back.
Eventually she sighs and says, “I’ll put you in contact with the construction company the Guild works with. You should be able to protect them with ease thanks to your summons.”
I nod with a satisfied smile.
She’s right about that. All I have to do is summon an army of abyssal servants and nothing would even get within sight of the army.
And if push comes to shove, I can just mine myself. Or have my abyssal servants mine instead.
If the construction company is too scared to do it, I mean.
After that, things begin to move at a rather quick pace. With the company eventually agreeing to work for me and build my home after some convincing. Which pretty much comes down to me showing them that I can easily protect them.
By summoning a massive army surrounding the entire Hunter’s City.
Now whether they decided to work for me out of awe or fear, I don’t know, and I don’t care.
I got the company working on my home and that’s all that matters.
Although, for now they’re just in the designing phase. Asking me what sorts of things I want and designing the underground home that’s pretty much gonna be more of a base than just a simple home.
And after I finish setting all that up, I go ahead and leave the city to check the Sponsorship Menu for portable homes. Not to mention regular daily appliances and stuff.
Things I can swap out with the ones in the new home.
I’ll show some of the appliances that need to be built in to the construction company as well later.
I should also get a protection barrier.
Fortunately for me, a lot more things are available to me after reaching level three hundred. So that’s really nice.
I smile as I casually swim around in the ocean around the seven or so thousand meter depth just browsing the different things I can get from Sponsorships.
This is going to be a really nice home.
Far nicer than anything on Equeter.
Probably.
Then again, it really depends on how well the people of Oceana can adapt the technology.
Although regardless of how well it’s adapted, it’ll still be better than any home I’ve had before. And better than an inn.
As for any questions they may have about the technology itself?
I honestly couldn’t care less. It’s not like the people of Oceana can hurt me even if they find out I’m not from Oceana originally.
With that thought in mind, I continue browsing with a smile on my face.

2025-12-01 15:30:30 +0000 UTCWould you enjoy living in a home full of holes and destroyed furniture that is actually a living creature's body and therefore cannot be fixed or altered? And costs mana to keep out. And can't permanently stay out or store anything.

2025-09-22 03:52:54 +0000 UTCI would have thought she would have summoned a ghost ship and driven that as a portable home.
