All Around the Universe

Silence fills every corner of the universe watching Ashley’s livestream. Regardless of whether they’re her enemy or her ally, everyone finds themselves holding their breaths.

A System Message plays out in front of everyone’s eyes. Making a chill run down the spines of more than a few of Ashley’s enemies.

Primordial System Notification

Attention all users of the universe.

The Successor of Chaos, also known as the Queen of Destruction, has officially assimilated the skills of the Tiger of Eternal Snow. Therefore the System is now declaring the user, Ashley Sinclair, as obtaining a new Unique Title.

As the Tigress of Eternal Snow.

But despite the message confirming that Ashley has assimilated the Unique Monster’s skills, every one of Ashley’s fans and allies watch the livestream without taking their eyes from it. Because, despite winning the battle, it’s clear Ashley isn’t hanging on very well.

Ice expelled during the Unique Monster’s death floods the area, rapidly freezing and dissolving Ashley’s body bit by bit as she silently screams in pain.

Soon, half of her enemies begin to change their tunes from despaired to happy as they realize what’s coming. But the remaining enemies continue to despair without any sign of stopping.

And under the eyes of everyone in the universe, even as Ashley’s body begins to produce the same ice energy that’s hurting her, she continues to disintegrate as the Unique Monster’s ice kills her.

Until the light finally fades from her eyes, and she dies with the new ice energy in her body fighting off the Unique Monster’s ice energy.

Silence befalls the entire universe. Meanwhile cheers flood half the planets of Ashley’s enemies.

But only half of them as the others continue despair.

And the very reason for their despair comes when a bright crimson light shines in a large pillar shooting upwards from Ashley’s body.

The enemies who were cheering immediately stop at the sight of it before they remember something they’d forgotten. And they’re not the only ones as those who had forgotten amongst Ashley’s allies and fans also stop despairing over her death immediately to focus on the screen.

Where the crimson light pillar finally fades and Ashley reappears without a single wound on her body, and her body now filled with both chaos energy and ice energy. With the ice energy immediately setting to work fighting against the remaining ice energy from the Unique Monster.

Until the ice finally clears.

After a full five seconds of silence, the universe breaks out into cheers and despair from both Ashley’s allies and enemies alike.

Ashley

The moment I find the single-use revive from the System Tower activating, I let out a sigh of relief. Specifically at the fact that my energy is now completely refilled. Enough that the new energy I’ve obtained – no doubt from my new skill – clashes against it. Countering its effects in the process and slowly eradicating the remaining energy from the Unique Monster’s last hurrah.

Thank Chaos I didn’t use that revive until now…

Surprisingly enough, despite mentioning his name, Chaos doesn’t say anything. Even though I can sense his presence in the back of my mind.

Hmm. Well, whatever.

More importantly than that right now are those System Messages I couldn’t check due to the pain and, well, dying.

A smile spreads across my face at the messages and the notification. Then I turn my attention to the mission complete messages that follow.

The quest, Realm of Chaos, has been completed! Contribution will now be analyzed…

The following are the ten users and quest goers who have contributed the most to the completion of the quest:

Ashley Sinclair Chaos, Successor to the Primordial of Chaos – 100%

As this is the last System Tower Domain, all rewards shall be distributed once the user has crossed the Final Stairwell to meet with the Tiger of Eternal Snow’s true body at the tower’s peak.

Congratulations on completing the Chaos Domain!

Then the point calculation comes next.

Point calculation shall now begin…

Analyzing user’s Realm of Chaos completion rate…

All objectives were completed.

User died.

User completed the Domain within the third Tier time limit.

User has slain the Final Boss.

As a reward, the user is granted 1,450,010 System Tower points.

Hmm. Interesting.

It looks like a bunch of points were deducted for how long it took me to clear the Domain, and for the fact that I died during the Domain. But all those points were made up for with more to spare from killing the Final Boss instead of the normal boss for the Chaos Domain.

I look away from the notifications when a large portal appears near me. One that actually has more of those jewels. With one jewel from each of the Primordials powers all spread in an arc around the rainbow colored portal.

A smile spreads across my face.

Then I just lie down on the ground without a care in the world. Because I’m finally done with the System Tower.

And I’ve achieved my goal at last.

Receiving my next Unique Monster Skill Tree.

With that thought in mind, I take a break for a few minutes. Then I finally open my Skill Tree menu to find the new Unique Skill Tree. Which is located in the center of my Skill Trees next to my other Unique Skill Tree and Assimilate.

A smile spreads across my face as I look at the description of my new skill.

{Eternal Snow – UNIQUE SKILL – Grants the user’s ice energy the secondary effect of True Damage to all hit by it in the form of the initial freezing stage caused by anything using the user’s ice energy disintegrating part of what it freezes. Additionally, everything frozen by the Eternal Snow of the Tigress that isn’t disintegrated shall be frozen for all eternity lest destroyed by True Damage. Should the user not naturally have ice energy, the skill grants the user the ability to hold and generate ice energy.}

That explains why I have ice energy now in addition to my chaos energy.

Even the King of Destruction’s Skill Tree doesn’t naturally give destruction energy. So it’s interesting that the Tiger of Eternal Snow’s Skill Tree does.

Regardless, this is a very powerful skill. As befitting a Unique Being’s root skill.

After looking at the root skill, I glance at the Skill Tree itself. Only to surprisingly find it very different from the Queen of Destruction Skill Tree.

The Tigress of Eternal Snow Skill Tree is set up with a single path. Unlike the Queen of Destruction Skill Tree that has five branches.

Huh.

And the first skill to unlock in it is rather unexpected as well.

But interesting.

So I immediately purchase it with the skill points I got from killing the tiger clone in the first place.
