Within the Progenitor’s Special Dimension

“This is going too far, even for you, Phoenix,” Jormungandr says with a faint scowl directed at the Progenitor of Fire and Birds. “It’s disgraceful.”

“Agreed.” “Directly targeting the youngest Progenitor and going all out trying to kill them for nothing but your own petty vendetta?” “It’s almost pitiful.”

One Progenitor after another verbally attacks Phoenix in the Progenitor’s Special Dimension as the livestream showing Wolf fighting through the four hundred and ninety-first floor of the dungeon. And Fenrir feels pleased at the Progenitors’ defense of Wolf.

But at the same time, he can’t help but feel worried because of the danger Wolf is currently facing.

Or rather, that he will be facing soon. Once he reaches the five hundredth floor.

“Oh, come on! Little Wolfey won’t be in any real danger!” Loki’s voice floods the dimension, making everyone grow silent at once as they turn to see Loki appearing in the dimension in her true form. “Not with my help!”

Fenrir notices Phoenix turn her fiery gaze towards Loki, with her anger literally radiating out in heat waves.

“An adult child like you shouldn’t get invol-” Phoenix begins to spit out, only for Loki to make illusions of hands appear to cover her mouth. Illusions that she burns away moments after they block her mouth, increasing her anger even more.

“You should cool off that little temper of yours, little birdy bird!” Loki says while sticking her tongue out and wagging her tails behind her.

But as Phoenix is about to explode in anger, making the heat rise all around her body in the process, another Progenitor appears in the dimension. Capturing everyone’s attention in the process.

“The child will also have my assistance once, so there isn’t any chance he will lose,” Beelzebub declares as he appears in the dimension.

Fenrir feels his lips quirking upwards at the sight of all the many Progenitors taking Wolf’s side in the situation.

Although a small part of his satisfaction is also from seeing Phoenix getting scolded by the other Progenitors and the sight of everyone turning on her. Just the mere idea is enough to leave him feeling satisfied.

Phoenix has been targeting him throughout his entire life ever since she was born. All because she is fire and he is ice.

While Fenrir has never really felt anything towards her, she has always targeted him. Attacking him and always picking a fight.

Trying to steal his territory. Trying to tear down his neutrality judgments. And doing everything she can to get in his way.

So seeing her being turned into a public enemy amongst the Progenitors due to her actions is very satisfying for Fenrir.

But that’s not all. Because he feels good about the fact that he can summon two Progenitor clones to help him against Phoenix’s clone.

With that help, he should be able to survive the Centurion Floor Theme.

Arcadian Live

Mikaela feels relaxed as he commentates on Wolf’s fights within the Beta Dungeon. Feeling happy about no longer having to share the Arcadian Live Viewing Room.

And more importantly, feeling happy that he isn’t being messed with by Loki anymore.

He was shocked when he learned that Loki was female. Considering all the pranks she kept pulling on him while he was trying to do his job.

Mikaela lets out a sigh as he remembers that particular memory.

It was not pleasant.

“And that makes the second boss defeated!” Mikaela declares with a grin once Wolf defeats another one of the bosses in the dungeon floor. One in the form of a massive dinosaur made of molten rock. “He’s been in this floor theme for a while now, but he’s still only on the first floor of the theme. This marks the longest it’s ever taken him to clear a regular floor that isn’t a Centurion Boss or regular Boss floor! All because of the Progenitor of Fire!”

Part of Mikaela wants to insult the Progenitor of Fire for being petty. But another part is keeping him from doing so.

After all, the Progenitor of Fire is the pettiest of the Progenitors and is the most likely one to break the neutrality of the mortals to target a mortal just because they insulted her. Especially if the mortal in question is one speaking to trillions of people through a viewing room.

And it doesn’t help that Loki has personally engrained just how dangerous and unstable Phoenix is into the minds of Mikaela and the audience through her many insults that she never bothered to hold back over the time she spent in the viewing room.

Doing anything public to insult Phoenix is known publicly as a way to declare your death wish towards her. Pretty much asking her to kill you.

Mikaela feels a shiver run down his spine at that.

Especially when he hears Wolf muttering something in the livestream about Phoenix’s pettiness. Without holding back in his insults.

Meanwhile he’s heard that Sapphire – who is currently at the Lunar Church – isn’t holding back her own insults either. In fact, she’s going all out spreading word about just how petty Phoenix is all around the universe.

Clearly showing the grudge her father and especially her have against the Progenitor of Fire.

But unlike with Mikaela and most normal people, Sapphire is being protected directly by Fenrir. Making it so that Phoenix can’t attack her.

Which is only angering Phoenix even further. But the Phoenix clone in the dungeon can’t learn of any of the events going on outside of the Beta Dungeon according to the Progenitors.

So their taking their anger out on her doesn’t increase the difficulty of the Beta Dungeon itself at all.

Mikaela feels the grin on his face growing at that thought.

After all, he can’t help but dislike Phoenix as well after seeing everything she’s done. Even if he would never insult her directly and out loud.

With that thought in mind, he continues commentating on the livestream without missing a beat despite his thoughts.
