Added 2020-03-09 08:00:27 +0000 UTCI've had a new HP computer workstation on order for a while and it arrived yesterday...yes, a Sunday! We are in the process of configuration and moving all of my DAZ Studio files, folders and products to the new machine. This is quite time-consuming (around 600GB of data) and delayed my normal Sunday post. My apologies, but it will all be worth it.
This will replace my old laptop, a top of the range gaming laptop, now three years old. The new machine is massively faster and is designed specifically for rendering. It uses the same components as the people at Pixar use, apparently. I am hoping that it will allow me to create large better resolution images and use more complex sets without the problem of excessively long render times.
The acquisition of this new PC has been made by you out there...my Patrons.,,it wasn't cheap! So, my heartfelt thanks to you all for making it possible and I hope to give you even better images and sets in the future.
