Wolf
Time passes as I clear one of his floors after another. Getting back to back energy restoration items from each mini boss.
All the way until I finally arrive at the four hundredth floor of the Beta Administrator Dungeon.
Where I find the floor covered in layers upon layers of illusions.
And every illusion feels genuinely real as I sense a special variant element spread into the illusions.
Loki’s variant element. One that makes illusions real and capable of interacting with reality.
My inspection of the surroundings is quickly interrupted by a System Notification.
Beta Administrator Dungeon Notification
Congratulations on arriving at the four hundredth floor!
This is a message from the Centurion Boss of the Centurion Floor.
“Hello little pup! I’ve been wanting to speak with you for a while now!
Of course, I mean directly. Not through my lovely real self outside of this place.
By the way, how did you enjoy my lovely floors up through this one?
I made them especially for you, my cute little puppy!
And what about my real self’s beautiful commentary? It’s amazing, right?
I’m a born commentator, right?
I’m really enjoying this, so keep up the great work and give me a wonderful show!
Please enjoy my beloved maze of illusions!”
The four hundredth floor of the Beta Administrator Dungeon is split up into three parts.
The first part of the floor requires you to reveal the Temple of the God of Illusions.
The second part of the floor requires you to enter and climb the Temple of the God of Illusions.
And the third part of the floor is to retrieve the Scepter of Illusions and defeat the God of Illusions.
Should you fail any of these, you shall be locked into an illusion for the rest of time.
Assuming you survive the process.
Huh. Loki is starting to piss me off again.
Now he’s literally just mocking me.
I let out a sigh at that thought before focusing on the latter half of the notification. Specifically the parts of the floor.
Another temple? And once again it’s describing the Progenitor as some sort of god.
Then again, I guess that’s not entirely wrong.
Progenitors are pretty much gods of their elements.
They are made of their elements and have absolute control over them.
Then there’s also the scepter thing again. Just like with the scepter in Beelzebub’s floor.
It’s all very familiar.
As for the floor around me? I honestly can’t tell what I’m looking at. It shifts all over the place.
Some areas of the floor look like planets made of different elements filled with different monsters. Other areas look like random towers that just appear out of nowhere. Others are cities of all different time periods and levels of technology and cultures. Then there are even caves, oceans, volcanoes, and other random biomes just floating in space or on random planets that look incredibly out of place.
There are other structures like temples, castles, and even just floating underground dungeons that aren’t underground.
Then there’s the monsters. Some of them look derpy, others look terrifying, and others just look like normal monsters. But I’m sure at least half of them are illusions while the other half are partially illusions. With parts of their bodies being made of illusions while other parts are real.
Honestly, it quickly becomes overwhelming to my senses.
Incredibly overwhelming.
Wherever I look, whatever I hear, and whatever I smell. Everything contradicts itself.
Sight, sound, smell, magical senses, life senses, everything.
And it’s making me drastically reduce my own hearing sensitivity and grab a nose plug.
Because it’s just way too much.
What’s worse is that when I try to sweep my Domain across it to devour the illusions, I find myself actually being pushed back by the elemental energy. Because the elemental energy belongs to Loki himself.
The Progenitor of Illusions.
I grit my teeth as the contradictions continue piling on. Meanwhile my surroundings continue to shift with the illusions. Changing every now and then, including the monsters.
But when some of the nearby monsters move up to attack me, I find the shifting illusions to have actual solid strength backing them.
What’s even worse is that they’re powerful.
Powerful enough to push me back.
So powerful that even when I try to claw at them, I only barely make a chip in a monster’s illusion-made scales.
And what’s even worse is that when I try to identify the monsters using the Beta Dictionary, all I end up getting are results that are messed with by the illusions.
Like the one for this strange monster that is a mix between a bug, a human, a lion, and a shark. Albeit with the human and lion parts being made half of illusions.
Eldritch Thingamabobber
Cat McFluffy Flufferson the Second
A pink fluffball. Yes. A fluffball.
That’s all it is.
You must believe the dictionary result.
Because it is never wrong.
Or is it?
I don’t know. I’m just a Progenitor.
Yes.
Cat.
Cat McFluffy Flufferson the Second is the greatest fluff to have ever fluffed in its fluffy life as a cat.
Remember that.
Even though it’s not a cat.
But it’s still the fluffiest cat ever
Despite not being a cat.
So don’t forget.
The fluff is all powerful.
And this result is definitely not largely copied from a previous dictionary result.
Level – ASDLNFASCPVONASDPFOHNA – YoU wIlL nEveR KNOWWWW
The Beta Dictionary result is nothing but a bunch of made up crap to mess with me.
And even when I identify the monsters without using the Beta Dictionary, I still get that taunting message about how I’ll never know their level.
It’s incredibly irritating.
Even when I try using just my Domain on them, they still fight back against my Domain. Making it devour them slowly enough for me to actually get hurt by the monsters.
And what’s worse is that quite a few of the injuries I manage to make on the monsters are just replaced with new illusions. Treating it as if they’re healing.
I’m starting to dislike Loki more and more by the second…

Also will we find out what his domain/elemental realm is like on the inside? Grim's is a literal void where's Titania's is like a proper little world so curious as to what his would be like.

2025-05-31 17:09:57 +0000 UTCI have a question if that's ok. When Wolf was a Harbinger/Reaper increasing his level increased his range, stamina, the amount of element he could store in his body and the speed of element generation to matcj increaded element storage amount. Now that he's a progenitor I would asume that increasing his level slightly increases his domain size and therefore the amount of element he can store and the element generation rate. Does expanding his domain only increase the domain size or does it also increase the element generation rate as well? If not then the bigger his domain the longer it'd take to fill it.
