Within the Progenitor’s Special Dimension

“And the next floor is up!” Loki exclaims on the livestream shown in front of Fenrir. “How will she deal with this one?!”

Fenrir watches the screen through half-closed eyes as Wolf appears on a floor filled with numerous massive monsters spanning over a hundred meters in height. Only for half of those massive monsters to turn out to actually be just a single foot in height instead, while the other half end up being over two hundred meters in height.

The only reason Fenrir doesn’t try to force Loki to stop is because he knows that Loki is helping Wolf. Even if he’s messing with him while doing it.

Although another reason Fenrir won’t bother talking to him is that he knows trying to stop Loki would only make Loki do it even more.

As for Loki appearing in the viewing room interacting with the mortals? Fenrir doesn’t care about that.

It has nothing to do with his pup, and he knows Loki won’t actually harm any of the mortals. No matter how much he messes with them.

So Fenrir turns a blind eye to Loki’s actions.

He doesn’t want him to start causing even more trouble after all.

After glancing back and forth between the viewing room livestream and his pup’s personal livestream for a few moments, he turns his attention to a corner of the special dimension. Where he finds Phoenix glaring at the livestream. Clearly upset that she wasn’t the first of the progenitor copies to appear in the dungeon.

Fenrir looks at the other progenitors currently present before finding several of them looking disappointed in their own ways. With some being allies and others being potential enemies to Wolf.

And he makes sure to note down all the potential allies and enemies who look disappointed about it.

One ally in particular though catches his eye. Because he knows how interested she is in his pup.

Fortuna, the Progenitor of Luck.

No doubt because of Wolf’s unusual luck.

She’s interested in seeing his exact level of luck in person.

It’s not common for someone to have such bipolar luck. Bouncing back and forth between incredible luck and terrible luck.

And another Progenitor he knows has interest in his pup is Eris, the Progenitor of Chaos. But her interest isn’t as openly shown, and she rarely ever appears within the special dimension.

She is a strange Progenitor after all.

Not very social yet dedicated to chaos. Enough that she will occasionally meddle in others’ affairs just to cause some chaos and sit back to watch. All without letting anyone know or prove that she’s the one who meddled.

To the point that many Progenitors begin to assume she may be potentially responsible for unexpected changes to their plans. Even if she has nothing to do with it.

Which only interests her more as it causes further chaos regardless of whether she’s done anything or not.

Fenrir feels a little bit worried about her interest though. Because he’s been told that her interest goes beyond a mere curiosity. And part of him isn’t surprised by that.

She loves chaos, and everything revolving around his pup is extremely chaotic.

Her interest is deep enough that it has him a little worried. Especially since he knows she is trying to enter the dungeon to test and train him.

And if he passes her test, things may become awkward for Wolf. Because Fenrir knows Eris’s interest in him will only grow from there.

But there’s no way he can not win. Since that would mean dying.

So he can’t do anything about the situation for now.

I just hope her interest fades over time.

He sighs at that thought before focusing on Phoenix again to find her angrily leaving the special dimension. Clearly upset about Wolf getting more training before facing off against her.

And Eris is still leagues better than Phoenix.

On top of those two, he’s heard both the Progenitor of Light and Dark are planning on entering the dungeon as well with their clones if possible. But Fenrir isn’t sure why they wish to. Since they should both be too busy dealing with the war to meddle with his pup.

Part of him wonders if one of them decided to help or hurt Wolf and the other decided to join in just to compete with them.

Which irritates Fenrir more than it should.

The biggest problem though has nothing to do with any of those Progenitors.

It’s the Progenitor of Void, Grim.

Because Fenrir has heard rumors about the System making a copy of his clone as well. And with everything that has happened to him recently due to Fenrir’s pup, Fenrir doesn’t expect him to show even a shred of hesitation in killing off Wolf.

Fenrir narrows his eyes at the screen as Wolf gradually kills off the monsters on the floor. Only for the floor to turn into a large maze filled with numerous fake exits as well. Ones where he has to enter exits in a certain order to make it through to the end of the floor.

Another trick meant to prank his pup.

And said pup doesn’t look very pleased about it. Just like with all the other floors he’s been on full of pranks.

But he eventually gets through the floor all the way to the end. Where he eventually faces off against a strange monster.

Fenrir feels rather exasperated at the sight of the mini boss of the floor. Which is in the form of a tiny millimeter-long gnat covered in numerous layers of illusions making it look like a massive giant spanning five hundred meters in height.

And it ends up taking Wolf a little while to realize the true size of the monster thanks to just how small it is.

Fenrir lets out a sigh at the sight before glancing up at the ceiling. Just wondering how long these pranks will go on.

Probably until Wolf beats Loki’s clone and leaves his floor theme…
