The next couple weeks pass by rather smoothly as I train my own body by devouring armies of monsters on every floor I go to. Just completely wiping out the floors of monsters with my Domain one floor after another.

Whether it’s on this floor theme or the next floor theme.

All the way to the end of floor 390. Where I devour a boss monster with my Domain.

And before I know it, I find myself staring at the exit to floor 390.

The entrance to the next Centurion Boss floor theme.

Where another Progenitor clone is waiting for me.

I take in a deep breath before letting it out again. Only to decide to wait a little bit for my energy to recover before entering the next Centurion Floor. Since I don’t actually know who I’ll be facing as the Centurion Boss.

And if it’s Phoenix… then things will get difficult really fast.

Phoenix, the Progenitor of Fire, is one of the few Progenitors out there who is directly out for my blood. So they won’t hold back in the slightest and will go all out trying to kill me.

Which won’t bode well if they’re one of the Progenitor clones chosen.

I’ve also heard that the boss of the dungeon itself has been changed. According to Fenrir.

And that doesn’t bode well either. Since it likely means a seventh Progenitor clone.

I grimace as a single Progenitor’s face comes to mind for that position. But I don’t know if the System would purposefully put him into the Beta Dungeon.

Part of me hopes it doesn’t, but another part of me wants revenge. So I’m a little conflicted about it.

Then again, I guess it doesn’t really matter what I think about it. The System isn’t going to do what I want anyways.

I’m just going to have to adapt to whoever I’m fighting.

And hope for the best that I don’t end up fighting Phoenix in this next Centurion Boss Floor Theme.

I proceed to relax for a few hours to refresh my energy reserves and Domain before once again standing in front of the exit and taking a deep breath. Then I finally reach out to touch the exit, making a bright flash of light flood everything around me.

White light, oddly enough.

And when I appear on the 391st floor, I find myself… uh… somewhere?

Well, the first thing that’s obvious is that I’m not on a Floor Theme controlled by Phoenix. So there’s that.

That said, I’m honestly not sure where I am.

The floor around me seems to change every now and then. With me floating high in some dreamland-like place with floating toys and battleships and random castles.

Just random things in general.

As for the elemental energy filling this place…

There’s a lot of random elemental energies here. Not just one, unlike with the curse floor.

But something about the elemental energy feels fake. I’m not sure what, but it just doesn’t feel real.

I frown as I look around before spotting different monsters floating around.

There are toy soldiers, stuffed animals, flying dragons, flying fish, and various other monsters just roaming around the weird dreamland.

Just at a glance, there are two different Progenitors I can see being capable of making a place like this.

The Progenitor of Chaos, and the Progenitor of Illusions.

And from what I’ve heard about those two Progenitors from Fenrir, the Progenitor of Chaos is a very serious person despite her title. And while she does enjoy some chaos, she isn’t the type to make a dreamlike world at all.

Loki, on the other hand, very much is.

On top of that, Loki’s illusion element would make more sense in this case since it feels like the elemental energy here is fake. Like an illusion.

Which I guess means the first Progenitor clone I’m up against after Beelzebub will be Loki.

I continue looking around my surroundings for a little bit before narrowing my eyes.

Honestly, I don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Since Loki is a major unknown amongst the Progenitors.

No one truly knows anything about him.

Not even if he really is a him. Since he changes his form and gender almost every time he meets someone.

The only reason people call him male is because he says he’s male. But even that doesn’t have any proof, and considering how he is always playing pranks on people and enjoys lying, he could be female for all the other progenitors know and just playing a prank on them that’s lasted for as long as he’s known them.

No one has ever seen his true form after all.

To do that he’d have to be on the verge of death.

And suspiciously enough, I find my viewer count skyrocketing the moment people no doubt hear where I am. On Loki’s Centurion Boss Floor Theme.

Now, whether that’s because they want to see another Progenitor clone or because they’re curious about his real appearance, I’m not sure. But I get the feeling there are a lot of Progenitors watching now not just to see how I do.

But to see Loki’s clone when it is about to die if he loses.

Because his illusion should fade then, revealing his true form.

I scratch the back of my head, just wondering what Loki is really like. Then I eventually shake my head and focus on my surroundings again.

Only to feel incredibly disoriented as I do. Because all my senses are telling me different things.

My elemental senses are screwing up as I sense all sorts of different elemental energies around, many of which feel fake. My eyes are telling me there are monsters where I don’t sense energy or life force, my ears are hearing sound where I don’t see or smell things, and I’m smelling monsters and sensing life force where I don’t see or hear things.

It’s incredibly disorienting.
