Within the Progenitor’s Special Dimension
Fenrir watches as his pup makes his way through the circus floors of the dungeon without stopping. Just slaughtering everything that gets near him by tearing them apart with his bare hands.
“Ya know, the little guy is starting to remind me of you, Fenfen,” the Progenitor of Illusions, Loki, states while placing an arm around Fenrir’s back. “Ferocious and ice cold. Just the way you acted in your youth.”
The Progenitor of Ice turns an icy glare onto the very touchy Progenitor of Illusions. But Loki doesn’t bother moving as he laughs.
Unlike a lot of other progenitors, the Progenitor of Illusions never shows his true appearance to anyone. Not friends or allies.
Every time he is seen he is always wearing a different face. And sometimes even a different gender.
The only reason anyone even knows he’s male is because he said so himself when they first met.
But since no one has ever fought Loki long enough to get rid of his illusion placed on himself, no one knows his true appearance. Even if no one can hide his powerful Illusion Domain.
“This whole thing is turning into a blast!” Loki says with a laugh. “Maybe I should join in on the fun?”
Ice begins to spread around Fenrir as he glares at Loki.
“Wooow, calm down doggie!” Loki jokes while raising his hands in a placating gesture. “I promise to help your little pup train when I see him, kay’?”
Not even going to take back what you said?
Fenrir glares at him for several more seconds before turning his gaze back towards the screen. Deciding in the end that there’s no reason to bother with Loki.
Especially because Loki would never purposefully get on any progenitor’s bad side. Ever the neutral prankster who pranks everyone evenly.
His own words as he loves to describe himself.
And at the end of the day, having a progenitor like Loki being one of the Centurion Bosses in the dungeon would be a better idea than having one of the others. Because Fenrir is certain he will make it easy for Wolf to face him.
So long as Wolf makes things entertaining, that is.
Fenrir watches Wolf move through the circus for a little while longer before glancing at Loki who is now running off to bother a different progenitor. Running around in circles around them in the process.
Maybe it’s for the best that Wolf get used to Loki’s antics while he’s in the dungeon dealing with a clone before he has to deal with the real thing…
That thought can’t help but run through Fenrir’s head as he lets out a resigned sigh.
More importantly, just who is going to be his second progenitor to face? And will they be a friend or a foe?

Wolf
I really don’t like circuses. And I’m very much getting sick of this music.
Even if they’re changing up the music a bit with every floor, it’s still annoying.
I just don’t like circus music. Especially horror-themed circus music that’s getting creepier and creepier with every floor.
Another oddity is that every floor I make it to on this floor theme has fewer and fewer monsters on it. Except with stronger monsters for the ones that are here.
Not to mention creepier.
Puppets that creak yet move at the speed of light out of nowhere. Clowns that laugh before exploding, turning into a nuclear explosion in the process. And even walking animal suits that spawn more walking animal suits after barfing them out.
Then there are the animals. Animals that have the wrong heads.
More like chimeras to be honest.
Nothing I fight actually holds a candle to me though, so I just keep slaughtering them while using my headphones to block out the annoying creepy music. Leading to me waltzing my way through the floors with ease.
Until something unexpected happens, that is.
Beta and Regular Administrator Dungeon Notification
Event Bosses have spawned on the 357th floors of both the Beta Administrator Dungeon and the Administrator Dungeon. These Event Bosses will act as bosses for the floor. Therefore, if they are defeated, an exit to the next floor will appear for those who defeated them.
Be warned, for these monsters are nearly the strongest seen yet.
Fight or flee, the choice is with you.
Huh.
That’s, uh, the next floor.
So…
Yeah, that’s a thing.
I guess the boss of this floor theme won’t be the biggest nuisance after all.
Why did the next event boss have to be in this annoying floor theme?
I frown at that before eventually letting out a sigh.
Whatever. It shouldn’t be hard to kill them regardless.
So with that thought in mind, I go ahead and finish clearing monsters from this floor as I expand my Domain more. All the way until I find the exit and enter the next floor.
Just to find it dark outside in the circus. And for some reason I can hear the creepy music through my headphones. Albeit not loudly.
And it’s even creepier now despite being fast.
Almost like it’s preparing for something.
I begin to walk forwards, only to pause when something strange happens.
Right in front of me, reality itself seems to shatter like glass with a hole appearing leading to some strange place filled with colors and distortions as some sort of creature floats out of it. One wearing something between a clown outfit and some sort of circus master garb.
The monster and I stare at each other for several seconds before it lets out a creepy laugh.
At which point I finally identify it.
-| Circus Master of the Grand Carnivos Carnival – Quable – Level 11111 |-
Huh.
Why do I feel like that level was on purpose?
Also, it’s rather high. A couple hundred levels higher than I am.
I look around the floor to find all the monsters already dead. And for some reason crushed into balls of flesh.
That makes me turn back to the circus master.
Well that explains it. But did the circus master purposefully level up to that exact number or something?
The circus master just continues laughing as the music takes an intense turn
Either way, time to fight.
Comments
I'm assuming he won't be able to single punch kill it like everything else so far. Looks like it's Phoenix, Eris and Loki for three of the six Centurion bosses!
