And as always with the System Forums recently, it’s full of nothing but drivel.

The thought of there being statues of my battles all over the universe sends a chill down my spine. But I turn my attention away from and close the System Forums when my slime finally finishes devouring the boss slime.

Which took longer than I expected it would.

That’s fine though. It did finish after all.

I yawn for a moment before stretching and walking over to the boss chest while bringing the slime back into my ring. Giving it a well-deserved rest.

Of course, even that takes a rather long time. Since the slime is enormous. Larger than entire planets in fact.

Once the slime is entirely in the ring though, I open the boss’s chest, only to find absolute garbage in it that I toss into the storage ring as well. Then I proceed to walk over to the exit before finding myself on the next floor.

The 351st floor of the Beta Dungeon.

As for what I find on the floor…

Uh…

Hmm.

I frown as I look around the floor.

This floor is… certainly unusual.

The first thing about the floor that slightly gets on my nerves is the music I can hear playing throughout it. It’s the type of music that would play at a carnival. Or a circus.

And it’s slightly creepy on top of that.

Then there’s the floor itself, which is literally in the form of an enormous, seemingly endless, circus. With clowns and mannequins, and various other things you’d see at a circus roaming around.

There are even random people that identify according to the System as monsters.

Actually, everything here identifies as a monster even if they’re not attacking me right now. With rather interesting identify results despite what they look like.

What I find the creepiest about this is that they’re all just going about their business as if this were a normal circus.

I really don’t like circuses. They’re creepy.

With that thought in mind, I begin to walk around the place. Checking out the different festivities they have before deciding to destroy anything.

And when I enter the different tents, they actually do have performances going on.

Well, if I consider that my seat disappears, and I find myself teleported to said performance a performance.

Which I guess it technically is.

Of course, everything the clowns and other ‘performers’ try to do to me just bounces off. Like the throwing knives and massive spiky ball they toss at me.

The performers don’t seem to take too kindly to my ruining their act by not dying or even getting hurt. To the point that their faces and outfits begin to distort. And it’s not just them either but the entire circus around me.

The massive tent, the people watching the performance in the bleachers, and even the music.

Everything begins to distort a bit.

The performers begin to take on some sort of horror appearance while the audience finally take on an appearance more in line with what their identify result told me.

Zombies.

And within seconds, this entire circus is now turning into some sort of horror film. With the creepy distorted circus music to boot.

Well this is just weird.

I snap my finger, making a massive wave of my Domain rush out to freeze everything solid into a bunch of ice statues. Then I have my Domain slowly devour the monsters around me as I begin to walk out of the large tent I’m in. Just leaving my Domain to slaughter everything in there.

Hmm. Well that was an interesting change of pace for a floor.

This music is still getting on my nerves though.

There isn’t much I can do about it, so I put my hands in my jacket pockets and continue walking through the circus. All while freezing everything and every monster around me and turning the circus into a frozen wasteland.

With said music still playing in a distorted manner.

I don’t think I’ve seen any floors quite like this one before.

It’s interesting. Even if it’s creepy.

My thoughts are briefly interrupted when I get several kilometers deeper into the circus and end up finding some sort of large lion jumping down in front of me while roaring its head off amidst the music. But I ignore it as my Domain automatically freezes the creature in my passing

Which ironically opens up an exit to the floor, proving said lion to be a mini boss.

I continue ignoring it though just to check out the floor a bit more.

Nothing says I have to leave a floor right away after all.

So I continue exploring the creepy circus. All while using my headphones to mute that creepy music.

I’m glad I have complete soundproofing on these headphones. It certainly comes in handy in times like these.

I walk around the circus for a few hours just to check everything out, freezing everything I walk by in the process and turning said circus into a frozen wasteland, until I eventually see everything I feel interested enough in seeing. At which point I go ahead and leave through one of the exits.

Only to appear in another slightly different circus with different creepy music playing.

Albeit still with a circus theme to it.

And without the horror part. Although I get the feeling the horror part will return if I break out of their little script.

Overall, I’d say this floor theme is rather interesting. Even if I dislike the music and overall theme.

It’s been a while since I was on a horror theme after all. And this particular horror theme is different from those haunted mansions I’ve been through.

This one seems to be scripted to some extent. With the monsters going berserk if you go off their script but acting normal otherwise.

I look around for a little bit once more before quickly growing bored this time.

So I begin tearing every monster apart with my claws while returning to focusing on expanding my Domain.
