Our meal continues rather peacefully for a little while before we both finish, and he calls for an archdemon who then brings me over to a rather secluded island surrounded by lava. One without a single demon or monster on it.

A perfect location for me to begin training my Wrath Transformation again.

So after the guide leaves, I immediately get to work using The Calling of Wrath over and over again. Which is now possible because of how short the cooldown on it is.

Although it does still hurt to use it before said cooldown is finished. But I don’t think it’ll ever get to the point of being fatal from overuse or something like that. It also looks like it’s increasing the progress more than before now that the skill is maxed out.

And so, just like that, I end up spending entire days repeatedly using The Calling of Wrath to transform before canceling the transformation and then doing it again. With the new healing feature of The Calling of Wrath making those ‘critical injuries’ null and void.

Once, twice, three times, ten, twenty, fifty, all the way until I completely lose track of how many times I’ve done it.

And eventually I manage to reach my goal as I find a System Note appearing in my vision.

My eyes widen a little at the new power I got from raising Wrath Transformation to thirty percent.

Interesting… does that mean if I keep raising it I’ll eventually be able to transform my entire body into Wrath energy?

That would be nice. A full energy transformation power.

Just as expected, my Tier Breach Mission suddenly appears in my vision now that I’ve completed it.

After the Tier Breach Mission appears in my vision, another System Note appears along with it asking if I would like to complete the mission or if I want to wait a bit for the optional objectives. And after a brief pause, I go ahead and select to wait a bit.

Because an idea just came to mind for how I can complete one of those optional objectives.

I feel a faint smile stretching across my lips as I climb to my feet and stretch a bit. Only to find the island around me to be… a little… uh…

Huh. Yeah, I should probably mention to someone not to come to this island if they don’t have a death wish.

The island around me is now completely covered in so much Wrath energy that I’m literally breathing it in just from being here. That it has a tangible misty form all around me that I can see with my eyes without even using my senses. And I get the feeling that it’s not exactly healthy for normal people to breathe in Wrath energy.

Other than the tangible Wrath energy here, there are also a lot of things corrupted by my Wrath energy. Although since it’s a deserted island, it’s mostly just plants. A lot of plants.

But there are also some fish that are corrupted. Plenty of those too.

All in the water around the island.

I look around the place for a bit before realizing it might actually make a rather nice little base for me to live in. If I were to be staying in Hell, that is. Which I’m not.

After I complete my Tier Breach Mission I’m going to be using that new skill to make a Gate back to Midgard. So there’s not really any point in making a base here.

On another note, before I head back to the castle, I begin trying out the new power I just got from reaching 30% in my Wrath Transformation. Which takes a few minutes to figure out how to do.

Thankfully for me, instinct drives me after several attempts. The moment I begin trying to flood a limb with Wrath energy.

And the result?

My forearm turning into nothing but Wrath lightning.

Why it ended up being Wrath lightning is beyond me. Probably because it’s the one I use the most.

But it’s still useful, nonetheless.

I transform my forearm back and forth between Wrath energy form and tangible form over and over again before nodding to myself and trying to transform other parts of my body. Which immediately makes me realize the limitations of this new power.

Specifically that the ‘thirty percent’ thing wasn’t just a random number that gave me the power.

I can transform up to thirty percent of my body at one time into Wrath energy.

Guess that means I should be able to fully transform into Wrath energy when Wrath Transformation is at one hundred percent.

Then again, the name ‘Wrath Transformation’ sort of implies that in the first place.

Anyways, I begin to head back to the castle.

Because there’s something I want to ask the Demon King.
