Book 1 Summary:

The first book began during a regular ball, where an irregular event occurred. One that changed the entire world by initializing everyone within it into the System.

During this time, Princess Cassandra of the Kingdom of Liathtria was assailed by the Heart of Wrath, which merged itself into her body and turned her into the Embodiment of Wrath herself. One of the Seven Deadly Sins. And after being assailed by the heart, invaders from other Planes of reality began entering the Plane of Midgard in an attempt to take it over. With several of them capturing Cassandra in the process.

After being captured, Cassandra was kept in a tube to make sure she was safe during the mutation process into becoming an Embodiment of Wrath. With the end-goal of brainwashing her after the process finished into being absolutely loyal to the invaders. But the invaders’ plan failed when one of their higher ups betrayed them and freed her, sending her to an incredibly dangerous location on Midgard in the assumption that she would die.

But she did not die in the Dark Forest. Instead she grew stronger, fought numerous monsters, and eventually managed to leave the forest.

Not long after leaving, however, she was sent to another continent by another one of the invaders when she was attempting to leave the duchy that controlled the Dark Forest. A duchy that was currently under the control of the invaders.

Cassandra then made her way through Aulta, the frozen continent, to meet with the king of Aulta. Whom she worked alongside to deal with the invaders on the icy continent before eventually making her way towards the World Tree to meet back up with her family. The Royal Family of Liathtria.

But not until after she reached Tier 3.
