Honestly such a poetic and true theme surrounding death, appropriate for a book with the type of protagonist we have here. The idea of having to move on- and honestly, as someone who has had to deal with parting ways with people, it really can produce some apathy in you if you let it. I'm glad she's met the right people, to help bring some meaningful life to what could have been an otherwise lifeless eternity. (No pun intended?) All that being said, it's not as if she'll never see him again, but moments like this definitely bring about thoughts of the inevitable end of her best friend's life.

2024-07-07 19:26:22 +0000 UTCThat was actually pretty emotional for me. Quite sad to see her first companion leave but the universe moves on and the next arrives. This was a very fitting goodbye for him though, i really like the fact you solidified his feelings and we got to see a conclusion.
