What would you do if your entire world were turned on its head?
A Primordial System buzzing in everyone’s heads, displaying strange screens and other displays in their visions.
Being thrown into a tutorial before entering your first System Event broadcast across the universe.
Returning back to your home after the System Event to realize that it’s been filled with monsters.
And learning that the abilities every human being has – abilities that have led to the current structure of society – are nothing but the root of their skill trees. The very first skill in their skill tree out of many.
Well, Ashley doesn’t know. She doesn’t remember anything other than some common knowledge from before waking up at the start of the tutorial.
So why should this change anything for her?
Other than her finding out about the blood bestowed upon her by a certain primordial and her own skill tree.
One with just a single skill.
A skill to unlock the skill trees of those she kills.
To assimilate.

For all of your 3 most recent stories, it’s felt like it was just the same person with a different coat of paint in the form of skills. Additionally, I’d really like to see you write someone who just really isn’t a “good” person. I’m not saying they’d go out of their way to kill innocent people for fun, but if the benefits outway the risks, I’d really like to see Ashley just go ahead and do it.

2024-03-12 13:03:52 +0000 UTCLove the story so far, thank you for sharing it with us. 🙂 I think I saw an inconsistency for the skill prices : in chapter 8 she says the first skills of the energy tree cost 5 points, then at the end of chapter 9 she says she can only purchase à single skill with her current 140 points.

2024-03-11 01:52:04 +0000 UTCIt was stated quite a few times in the story and shown pretty clearly that it's just the root skill that she unlocks upon unlocking the Skill Tree. She has to spend Skill Points to unlock the rest of the skills in each tree.

2024-03-10 17:11:48 +0000 UTCLooks like a good start to the story and I like the concept of assimilating skills, but one minor thing that is bothering me is that ashley kind of just looks like sapphire from rise of the winter wolf with Scarlets color scheme form wolf of the blood moon and with wings added so I just think she needs something to make her more distinct then your other characters

And my MCs being similar will never change. They're all based on me after all, so in my opinion, that's not a problem.

2024-03-10 10:16:28 +0000 UTCI like the story so far. I like you are using female leads instead of all those male leads. I just wish you would be abit diverse in the characters. Looking at all your stories. Blood Wolf, Reaper, Crimson all of them is lone wolves and reading these 10 chapters I thought isn't this story abit of a combination of all 3? Im talking about the personalities. All apathetic and (for now) doesn't have any driving force for life itself. She sounds like a victim of bullying that had a meeting with truck-kun and got comatosed. The universe seems huge, like in Crimson, which Im looking forward how your going to spin it with the different 'Primordials'. I raised a questionmark at the end of the story when you wrote about her assimilate of the gargoyle. Did she lose the wolf skill or didn't she? sounded like she could only have like skills from 5 different? or is this just me assuming something? I hope that isn't the case though. It would make her abit weak and she has to hunt for skills knowing which creatures (monsters and people) to hunt.

I do wonder if she kills a user who already unlocked some skills if she also gets those skills unlocked or just the root skill

2024-03-10 05:43:13 +0000 UTC1. I love that the MC is nonverbal (or close to it). So rare to see it. Especially for an MC. 2. You have a habit of the character guessing the correct answer/reason for something with little information otherwise given (like at the beginning when she guessed that she was in a coma for about a year, which is way too accurate for a guess, since she doesn’t remember anything before, and there are several reasons she could have muscular atrophy. If she guessed she was in a coma for simply “a while” that would be more believable, imo) 3. I think primordial of judgement should be changed to primordial of order. The others have their own opposites (besides time and the other one I can’t remember the the domain of), and judgement is also a bit subjective (going to ignore the sins and virtues), and also kinda narrow. Order can encompass judgment since punishing/jailing can be considered as maintaining/enforcing order.

Would it be possible for it to be kept the same, (for setting reasons), and add like 10/10 for the readers? I like the idea thematically, but it's hard to keep up with while reading. This just may be a personal thing. Either of way, love the new story. Already wish there was more!

2024-03-10 02:09:41 +0000 UTCIn Chapter 7, the hound Ashley wounds is the one shown using dark bite. The wounded hound takles a guy then the 2nd hound attacks using the dark bite skill. I am confused if both have dark bite or a goof occurred. But it's a great story!
