2024-01-31 09:18:38 +0000 UTCI just had a thought: I wouldnโt be surprised at all if more than a few people throughout the universe have a skill called something like ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐กโ, and Iโd imagine that such skills generally work in a similar manner to the Shout by the same name in Skyrim, in that it basically just makes the target more vulnerable to taking damage and overall easier to kill. And normally thatโd probably be the end of it, right? Except now, there actually ๐๐ someone by the name/title of Death. So what Iโm imagining/proposing is that once Aria reaches a certain level of power (maybe when she successfully summons her own personal Apocalyptic Horse for the first time?), a new modifier suddenly gets added to all ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐กโ skills in the universe. One where upon activation, the System will evaluate the target based on some hidden criteria, and if the target passes the criteria (which thereโs a really rather low chance of this happening) then the System will officially ๐๐๐๐ the target for eventually gaining the personal attention of Lady Death herself. That way, even if the target does escape the current battle alive, there is now a considerably high probability to a near guarantee that they will have their soul reaped personally by Aria herself, unless of course they die of old age before she gets there lol. And maybe thereโd be three different tiers of priority for each ๐๐๐๐๐๐ based on another hidden set of criteria by the System. So like, Low Priority/Tier 3: Lady Death is alerted upon arriving at the same world as the target of the ๐๐๐๐โs existence, and is given guidance towards the targetโs general location. Medium Priority/Tier 2: Lady Death is alerted to the ๐๐๐๐โs existence even while elsewhere in the universe, and is given general guidance to the same world as the target, to then be followed by more precise directions to the targetโs actual location. High Priority/Tier 1: Lady Death is aware of the targetโs ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ at all times, even when on the opposite side of the universe itself. They cannot run, and they cannot hide, she ๐ค๐๐๐ find them. There is no stopping her, for Death is Inevitable, and they have earned her attention, albeit not in a positive way. And the secret Critical Priority/Tier 0: The target has committed a crime or a multitude of crimes so great and terrible as to have caused the System to place a direct kill order on their head. Lady Death may now at any time of her choosing call upon the very System itself to provide her with a portal to transport her from anywhere in the universe to the targetโs immediate vicinity, immediately and directly. As for why Aria would even bother with going around to collect these ๐๐๐๐๐ in the first place? Why, because they give her discounts on her next level up of course, with the amount depending on the level of priority assigned to the target. Seems like a pretty good incentive to me, lol.

Famine's skill as described in book one: He is able to directly sap twenty percent of the magical energy within every single being around him, enhancing his own power with it and thereby making forcing him down with numbers an impossible feat. He basically just drains 20% of their max mana at the use of the skill. With a long cooldown. Meanwhile she can drain the life force of others, reducing their lifespan.

A nice reunion, happy to see Hannah still cares - I wouldn't blame her if she stopped caring about someone she knew for a few months, 20 years ago. That's a long time after all... The new skill sounds useful, reminds me of Famine's skil (I don't actually recall the details of the skill, just remembered he takes a certain percentage of something from others) This will definitely help keep her fighting during battles :D
