By the way, my motivation for writing this story dropped a bit recently due to the advanced reviews on Royal Road all bashing it. Because at this point, Crimson Eternal has the worst advanced scores out of all of my stories. Mostly from people complaining that the MC is immortal and can't die.

Your stories that I've read so far, this one included, are refreshingly original and I love reading them very much! I also really enjoy each of your characters that you've made, whether MCs or otherwise supporting characters. Moreover, I love the immortality aspect of Aria. You managed to capture it in both a serious and comical way, what with her jumping off of the grand tree instead of exiting the normal way. It makes for such a fun read. I know you're well past book 2 at this point, but please continue with it for as long as the story will go! One thing I especially love about this story in particular is the ability to travel to different worlds and capture widely different settings. There's nigh endless possibilities of different worlds and settings.

2024-02-11 14:14:21 +0000 UTCIt feels like every author and their mother gives their MC immortality if that's a thing in their setting at all, anyways. Only Tree of Aeons actually plays with the implications that at all, with the story lasting hundreds of years so far, and every chapter basically summarizing a year making the flow of time feel so much less substantial than it otherwise would. I have enjoyed the time skipping in this story, even if it feels a little odd for a 20-year-old to find 5 years to be inconsequential, as I don't think any 20-year-olds have that kind of long-view perspective. My point is that I really look forward to reading about the advantages and disadvantages of immortality. When everyone knows you're definitely going to be around in 5000 years, of COURSE the merchant empire is going to try and make good ties with you. Things like that make way more sense here than in so many other stories

It's a fascinating topic regardless of litrpg considerations and I'd love to see how Aria will turn out in the long run. Love, memories, purpose, boredom, captivity, worship, end of the universe, there are so many interesting things about immortality ! Sure, we are certain she won't die, but she can still suffer losses and MCs rarely die anyway so the point is moot.

Never understood why people would be angry at the MC being unable to die - it's not like any of the MCs of your average fantasy story is just going to die, we all know they'll survive somehow... so it's not like the stakes are somehow higher there. Anyway, this is currently my favourite story of all the stories on RR.

So its stupid that they are complaining about it.

To make is worse, with a few exceptions, all main characters are immortal anyway, the only thing immortality does is add an actual reason beyond “villain was dumb” “mc saved just in time” and “bullshit power-up of friendship” that the main character survived the fight with the enemy 10 times their level and experience. Honestly I enjoy this story the most out of all of your work so far…those idiots literally read a story where like the first sentence of the synopsis says she is immortal, then complain the mc is immortal. It’s like disliking cheesecake, going to the Cheesecake Factory, ordering cheesecake, and then complaining you don’t like. Like what?

This story is great, it can look like she is too overpowered in the beginning but her leveling speed makes up for it in the later parts. I like this laid back story and especially Aria and I love bombs. So keep writing 😁

There are literally thousands of stories on Royal Road, Scribblehub and so forth and prolly 80% of them are all Smut, stolen works, rehashed stories or just complete trash. I enjoy this one quite a bit and not bothered with the whole immortal thing. Frankly reading a chapter where she leaps off a tree, falls 1000m and splats to a pancake and get up immediately making people just stare is just plain comedy to me. Its original in a sense as well as her other antics and so forth. I pretty much dont care what other people think and just do shit for myself. There will always be Karens, Keyboard Warriors or whatever kids call them now days.

2024-01-30 05:11:26 +0000 UTCThats a them problem not a story problem. The immortality part is half the fun, seeing what absurdity you come up with next. I mean shes the MC. She cant die anyway. I've seen very few stories where the MC actually dies and we get another chapter after, let alone several dozen. What is it, a lack of the artificial tension of wondering how the MC will avoid death this time?! What deus ex machina plot armor will save them?! People need to get over it. I feel the tension in this is more about her getting captured anyway, since eternal imprisonment would be legit possibility.
